Lilah Love's latest case is making her head spin. It’s a string of brutal assassinations carried out across the country, each tied to a mysterious tattoo. Body by body, she’s followed the clues all the way back to her hometown. And every step of the way, the killer has been following her. Beneath the glamour of the privileged Hamptons community is a secret long buried but never forgotten. It’s bigger than Lilah. It’s powerful enough to escape the reach of the FBI. And it’s more personal than anyone can imagine. Because it’s hiding in Lilah’s own past.

After reading the Mitchell sister's stories I fell in love with the author, Samantha Christy, and her writing. I just finished Stone Rules, the 1st book in the Stone Brother's series. It made me laugh, and it made me cry. Samantha Christie is a powerful writer who not only tells a story but makes you feel it in your mind, heart, and soul. I wish Charlie and eathens story I could go on forever. The love and the passion that oozes from the words in this book are powerful. It can make anyone believe that a love so strong could do amazing things to someone with so much pain as these 2 characters hold on to. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series with the hope to feel this way again, alive.

They say Paris is always a good idea.... You know what I say? Paris would be a much better idea if I spoke the dang language. I can't even board the metro to visit the Louvre without ending up at the Moulin Rouge, and let's not even mention how I'll ever make it through a day at my new office. Fortunately my company hooks me up with my own personal translator. Ooh la la. Or should I say bloody hell? Because he's charming, witty, and British, and he brings the city to life for me.

Manning and I have what happily ever after is made of.... A home he built us on the unshakable foundation we fought for. A life of laughter carved out of heartache and betrayal. A love story to stand the test of time. But between a trust that can’t be broken, joy that can’t be bridled, and passion that would scorch the sun, the empty spaces are becoming more and more difficult to ignore.... Fears that keep Manning up at night as he slips from our bed. Our complicated relationship with a man he respects, and one I don't know how to forgive.

This love story had me laughing, crying, and turned on. It is not meant for young adults due to the graphic relationships of the main character. Andrew, is one of the most crude characters I have ever listened to and loved every minute of it. Aubrey stayed true to herself and her character all the way to the end. Don't miss this story.

When Casey first arrived at the off-the-grid town, an isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect, with no cell phones, no internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. She certainly didn't expect to be the homicide detective on two separate cases or to begin a romantic relationship with her boss. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned, and to keep others safe.

Do not pass up this great series and I cannot wait for the next book.
