loved the first Orphan X, second one not so much, this one...so good!! I reserve 5 stars for the best books I read/listen to and am able to whole heartedly give this one 5 stars all the way! Scott Brick's performance was outstanding, as always. the ending tells us there will be another Orphan X novel in the future and I can't wait!

Amazing! I wanted to give it 4 stars because the first 3rd of the book perplexed and irritated me. But then....the rest of the story is so awesome, had to give it a five.

*********Spoiler alert***********

Maybe because I am older, maybe because I am strong-willed and determined, I wanted to shake Andy and tell her to grow up!! I could feel where it was going with Laura so I didn't get too caught up in the fact that she was pushing her out of the nest, albeit abruptly and after such a horrific experience.
On to the final 2/3rd's of this amazing story. This section warrants a five!! So much complexity in the characters. So much intrigue. I don't want to give anything away! I will say this. Run don't walk to pick this one up!! If you are like me and find yourself a little frustrated with the characters in the 1st 3rd of the book, please keep reading!! You won't be disappointed!

For LAPD homicide cop Harry Bosch - hero, maverick, nighthawk - the body in the drainpipe at Mulholland Dam is more than another anonymous statistic. This one is personal. The dead man, Billy Meadows, was a fellow Vietnam "tunnel rat" who fought side by side with him in a nightmare underground war that brought them to the depths of hell.

First of all, Dick Hill is one of my favorite narrators of all time. With that said, anything he narrates, I enjoy! It took me awhile to get to this series, but I am so glad I finally gave it a listen. Harry Bosch is awesome. He's a cop, a rule-breaker, a Vietnam vet, and a tough guy, yet you can't help but like him and cheer for him. Cannot wait to listen to the next in the series!

From the New York Times best-selling authors of America's First Daughter comes the epic story of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton - a revolutionary woman who, like her new nation, struggled to define herself in the wake of war, betrayal, and tragedy. In this haunting, moving, and beautifully written book, Dray and Kamoie used thousands of letters and original sources to tell Eliza's story as it's never been told before - not just as the wronged wife at the center of a political sex scandal but also as a founding mother who shaped an American legacy in her own right.
