I felt the way he left things the first time was unforgivable. She looks like a push over and desperate. On top of that, I just don’t think any woman would take home back so quickly. I love all the other books in this series. The whole time I read this book I was hoping foe his failure.

Franco Genovese is the drummer for world-renowned American rock band Rook. He's got it all. A killer smile. Tattoos. Talent. Razor-sharp wit and humor. And a heart as big, and generous, as they come. Life is good. Steady. Uncomplicated. Just the way he likes things. Until one night at an unassuming L.A. bar changes everything.

Bright Side was heartbreaking and beautiful. Gus when from tragic to formulaic. Franco never gets interesting. I kept wanting it to come to life. It was disappointing from word one. Her departure from the two person narrative was disappointing. I think the story would have been interesting had she kept with the previous form. I truly hope that when she comes around to Keller again her slide will not continue.

The story was a little slow on the uptake. I really enjoyed that there wasn't a lot of sex in this book. It was a smart book. Wonderfully narrated. I was surprised at how good this book was. I had my headphones one and started laughing so hard, I nearly peed my pants. My husband looked over and asked what was so funny. This is another I will find myself listening to again.

Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual.

This book was unexpected for me. I love that it wasn't all about a blooming love. It was more complex and sweet and frustrating than a normal romance book. I love the office setting. This is the first audible book that I have wanted to listen to again.
