When Billy, a troubled young man, comes to private eye Cormoran Strike's office to ask for his help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child, Strike is left deeply unsettled. While Billy is obviously mentally distressed, and cannot remember many concrete details, there is something sincere about him and his story. But before Strike can question him further, Billy bolts from his office in a panic. Trying to get to the bottom of Billy's story, Strike and Robin Ellacott - once his assistant, now a partner in the agency - set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London....

It feels like I have waited forever for this book number four. The naration is absolutely outstanding -- just like the other three books. I am already listening to the book again. The only criticism I have is now I have to endure another excruciating wait for book number five.

I am so grateful to Mr. Woodward for increasing our level of understanding of all things political. This is happening not only in the USA but throughout the world. I thought I was well read and had a good understanding of issues. i was mistaken. I had to stop listening after each hour and walk around just to absorb and process the information. I also had to stop and feel my fear. I am terrified. I am still terrified.

What made the experience of listening to What Happened the most enjoyable?

Hillary's honest and heartfelt portrayal of everything that happened on the campaign trail. I also loved that she acknowledged--by name--all the hard work accomplished by her campaign staff.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hillary of course!

Which scene was your favorite?

Actually there were two: (1) Hillary's reaction as she was introduced by her daughter at the Democratic National Convention and (2) what she would have liked to have done during the debate where she was stalked by Trump.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night."

Any additional comments?

This is a detailed and comprehensive book about Hillary's experiences on the campaign trail.
