Mr. Miller knows how to write a book that keeps pulling you into the story. He does it again with The Hard Goodbye. Crime does pay until it doesn't. When you think things can't get any worse that's when they usually do and in The Hard Goodbye things get bad.....very very bad. Why not take a ride in Mr. Miller's The Hard Goodbye and find out how good bad can be.

I'll be honest with you, I was just looking for an audible book to listen to this week at work. Although I am not familiar with Mitch Davis or any of his books I am familiar with Mr. Shelman. He is my go to author and narrator. I would listen to him read the phone book. Since I couldn't find anything that interested me at first glance I thought I would see what Mr. Shelman had to offer me that I hadn't already listened to. That's how I came across Finding Richard. I thought it a bit odd that there were no reviews for an audible book narrated by Mr. Shelman. So I was intrigued. I downloaded the book and listened all week. Just started my 5th go around this afternoon.

Wow, people are really missing out an a fantastic story. A story of deep sadness, of wanting to belong, of demons that cannot be controlled, of a family's love that is stretched but never broken. A story of mental illness, in all it's ugliness, in all it's truths and in it's blurred line that stands between mental anguish and reality. A story of one man's fight to hold on, to not let go and to seek the help he knows he needs to go on. A story of love. We all have demons we hide, we ignore or make excuses for, we all do. We are all flawed, some just hide it better than others. Finding Richard is an incredible story and painfully real. Do yourself a favor and give Finding Richard a listen. Eric A Shelman, once again, nails the narration. I will be looking up Mitch Davis to see what other books he has written. Thank you Mr. Davis for this amazing story and to Mr. Shelman for bringing this story to life.

I read Trespass and loved it so much I wanted to listen on audible as well. Tim Halligan does an incredible job at bringing Chris Miller's nightmare to life. A relaxing hunting trip turns into a living nightmare. Kill or be killed are the only options as a father must do the unimaginable to save his son. Mr. Miller is a talented writer who know how's to write a story that pulls you in right from the start. I you haven't read/listened to a Chris Miller book, what are you waiting for ? Don't miss out on a great Indie writer.

Zombies on a Plane is entertaining for sure. not my favorite book out of the series but just as good as the rest. Mo and his band of misfits fly off to find his brother Ezekiel, leaving mom, dad and the love interest back home on the island. Some surprising things happen back there that I didn't see coming. S.W. Salzman is pure brilliance with all the voices he creates for Javan Bonds characters. Whether you read or listen to Zombies On A Plane you'll be highly entertained by the character's antics. Not your ordinary zombie series.

After listening to Shifting Fears for the fourth time in a week I guess you can say I really enjoyed it. Having read/listened to many of Mr. Shelman's books and never being disappointed in any of them, I just kept moving Shifting Fears to the bottom of my "To Be Read" list, not sure why but I just never seemed to get excited about getting to know this book. Well that's all on me because Mr. Shelman has another fantastic book with Shifting Fears. A really great book that brings together murder, mystery, time travel and some dark family secrets in a unique way that keeps you hooked until the very end. Eric A Shelman brings any book he narrates to life but a book he has written AND narrates, well that's just pure gold. My only regret about Shifting Fears is I wish I would have listened to it sooner. Don't keep passing this one up like I did. Get to listening Mr. Shelman tell a story you'll listen to over and over, like me.

I've read this entire series and when I found out the author was going to read his own books how can you stop yourself from buying all the audio versions as well. There is no secret I love anything Mr. Shelman writes or narrates. When The Road To California first came out I wasn't so sure how much I would like this side trip Mr. Shelman was taking us on without Flex, Gem and the rest of the main characters. Truth be told, I really think this is my favorite of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed going along for the ride with Dave Gammon and finding out his backstory while he makes his way to California to find his Uncle Bug. So many great characters are introduced in Dead Hunger 5. I have listened to The Road To California at least 5 times already and I will continue to listen over and over. If you've never listened to anything Mr. Shelman narrates, do yourself a big favor and find out why he is the best out there. He will always be my #1 narrator.

I'm on my third listen with The Silence. I like the two narrators, which I didn't think I would, but it breaks up the story from two perspectives. I enjoyed both narrators. I read the book on Kindle first and enjoyed it so much I wanted to listen to it as well. Not easy living in silence when the world was previously nothing but noise. I think the characters felt real and tell their story convincingly. Not every day creatures come from a cave to feast on any living thing that makes a sound. Great story from Tim Lebbon. You stay silent or you are silenced.

I love this series and Zombie Lake, I think, is my favorite so far. Good humor in a zombie apocalypse makes fighting zombies worth it. There are so many great characters in this series that keep you laughing, shaking your head or both. S.W. Salzman kicks butt with any book he reads and his voice just brings everything to life in this series. I've listened to Zombie Lake at least 8 times and laugh just as hard as the first time. I even replay scenes over and over just because they as so funny. Javan Bonds has a hit with this series and he chose the best narrator with S.W. Salzman. I am looking forward to Zombie Plane when it becomes available on Audible. If you like a zombie series that has a bit of a lighter side why not listen to the talented S.W. Salzman bring Javan Bond's Zombie Lake to life.

I think this is my favorite book out of the series ( so far ). The Unwelcomed comes alive in vivid color thanks to S.W. Salzman but you might want to hold off on the thanks until you find out whether you can sleep tonight. That vivid color I mentioned.....well there is a lot of red .....a .....lot....of....red. Blood red to be exact. What else would you expect from Mike Evans. If Mr. Evans writes it, I'll read it. If Mr. Salzman narrates it, I'll listen to it. Both these men are brilliant at what they do, maybe a little too brilliant. Highly recommend !
