Wonderful story! Recording needs to be fixed in spots

The story is fantastic! Agatha Christie does it again. The narrator did a good job but the recording quality is inconsistent. There's an entire patch towards the end where the sound isn't good at all and I found it very distracting.

I enjoyed the story but sadly I figured out the mystery immediately. As soon as they said who died I knew precisely whodunit and why. Call it a mother's intuition or whatever you'd like, but I wasn't fooled by any of the misdirection in the mystery. I enjoyed the story despite figuring it out way too soon, but it won't ever be my favorite Agatha Christie mystery since I sat on the solution for far too long... great narration as always by Emilia Fox!

This is one of my favorite Agatha Christie novels I have listened to on audible this far! I managed to figure out who done it and why before it was revealed but that didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story. The narrator did a fantastic job as well.

This is a really fun story, but make sure you get the right version! Richard E. Grant does a good job narrating, but before getting this version I bought a two for one version (Murder at the Vicarage/The Mysterious Affair at Styles) which had a horrendous narrator! She didn't ever pause or change her inflection when going from one character to the next or back to the general narrator! So make sure you buy the version with Richard E. Grant narrating because he does a fantastic job.

Such a great story! I have to say that I figured out who dove it about halfway through but probably only because I recently listened to another Agatha Christie with a similar twist and I think that left me in the right state of mind to figure it out. Still a great story and Hugh Fraser did a great job with his performance.

This is another wonderful Agatha Christie novel! I really don't know what I was expecting when I bought this audio book, but I certainly didn't expect a story like this one. It really is a fantastic story. Although I found it to be more heart wrenching than I was prepared for, I definitely recommend this book.

So good. Just amazing.

Decent story, upsetting plot points, some of the characters seem unrealistic and it's difficult to understand why they do what they do. Overall I definitely enjoyed the story even though the ending didn't come as a surprise to me. By the time the final reveal happens enough information is there to extrapolate the ending. I think I guessed at it less than half way through actually, although there were a couple of little bits that definitely shocked me (ex: her and her sister's relationship).

All in all I recommend this book but only if you don't have a long list of books already on your wish list. There is a lot of mature content so I do not recommend this to teens or younger.
