I bought this book because I liked DD’s previous works, and didn’t read up too much on the plot/premise beforehand. Honestly thought it was going to be a feel-good fluffy romantic tale, and was delighted to experience so many fun twists and turns and unexpected brilliance. It’s rare that I read a book and then want to do more research, but I find myself curious about the mythology behind the story and thinking about it long after I’m done listening. Cheers to a job well done!
