In flow, everyday experience becomes a moment by moment opportunity for joy and self-fulfillment. Flow is the brain-child of a fascinating psychologist, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, a renowned social scientist who has devoted his life's work to the study of what makes people truly happy, satisfied and fulfilled. While much of the study of psychology investigates disorders of the human mind, Dr. Csikszentmihalyi takes a different route.

waste of time. I accidently bought it not realising it was abridged and was seriously disappointed. A classic like this needs to be read from covet to cover... seriously don't bother with this one. Get the full version.

I could not complete this book. I was expecting something on how to determine your exact purpose and how to let this information your life's work but this felt more like a sermon and argument for being God fearing. Disappointing because even the structure is poor. These books should be in a separate category as religious reads so those who want them can access them and those who don't can avoid that category. For me it was a total waste of my Audible credits.

Enjoyed some of the interesting research and views but struggled with the authors style and opinions on certain things felt very biased and not particularly factually based... a little like he had a bone to pick. Took some useful nuggets out though.
