I really love strong female characters. When they are flawed it makes the story even better. This story was exactly what I want.

I never thought this could happen to me. I never imagined one chance meeting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday could change my life so completely. Now I belong to him. To Julian. To a man who is as ruthless as he is beautiful - a man whose touch makes me burn. A man whose tenderness I find more devastating than his cruelty.

This was very educational. I am hooked on Star Talk on National Geographic Channel. What I watched yesterday was in this book so I was paying attention.

In an introductory course on Earth Science we were shown a movie that showed a man on earth. The view expanded to show the cosmos then rapidly reduced to show the insignificance oh humans on earth. I visualized that movie while listening to the last chapter. This book is a real treasure.

When it comes to Eve Duncan, never say never…Is she dead or alive? That is the question on everybody's lips. Eve appears to have been the victim of James Doane, the psychopath who kidnapped her and forced her to use her skills as a forensic sculptor to reconstruct the skull of his depraved son. That's what everyone attending her funeral thinks, at least. But not even some of her top-brass colleagues know for sure whether her death is a hoax - a way to ensnare her brutal captor once and for all.

FBI Special Agent Matthew Roarke is closing in on a bust of a major criminal organization in San Francisco when he witnesses an undercover member of his team killed right in front of him on a busy street, an accident Roarke can't believe is coincidental. His suspicions put him on the trail of a mysterious young woman who appears to have been present at each scene of a years-long string of accidents and murders, and who may well be that most rare of killers: a female serial.

Some of the abilities in this book are similar t things I could d when I was younger. Knowing what people were going to say before they did. Knowing what my wife would look like and what state she was born in ten years before we met..
