As a woman in today’s world, you know what it’s like to feel pressure on all sides from clashing cultural expectations. How can you stay true to who God has uniquely created you to be in the face of the script you’ve been given? What’s more, how can you stand your ground with grace? The classy confidence you know and love - whether it’s on set at Full House or Fuller House, Dancing with the Stars, The View, or Candace’s Hallmark films - is no act. But it hasn’t come easy. In fact, learning to stay true to herself with grace has been one of the biggest fights of Candace’s life.

This is my favorite CCB book so far. It really hit home. I talked to my husband about it as I was listening.. and he told me he agreed 100% with CCB and it applied directly to a situation we were currently dealing with. If I ever wrote a book, it would be just like this. She took everything I think, feel and desire and put it in this book. I loved it! I may have to listen to it again soon! Thanks CCB!!

Learn to find and play the role God wants most for you to play, not the ones you feel pressured into playing for the sake of others or even our sense of accomplishment and worth. Most of us spend a lot of our lives figuring out when to say yes and when to say no. How to manage our time, reduce stress, do our best for our families, find a little space for "me". But we don't find space for our souls until we learn to step past the yes and no of daily decisions and seek a third option: the best yes. The best yes is the choice that shapes all our other choices.

I really liked the message of this book, but not crazy about the narrator. Seemed a bit robotic. I've been wanting to read this book, but never had time so I'm glad I got to knock it out listening in my car! Worth the listen.

As I started this book, I thought it was going to be a little obnoxious, quite frankly. But as I got into it, it seemed to be everything I needed to hear. Lots of things going on in my life that she touched on. The main thing I took away from this book was that we are responsible for our own lives... stop making excuses!! We have the life we create. Straight forward and I got a lot from this book. Rachel is someone I'd love to be friends with!

Ainsley O'Leary is so ready to get married - she's even found the engagement ring her boyfriend has stashed away. What she doesn't anticipate is for Eric to blindside her with a tactless breakup he chronicles in a blog - which (of course) goes viral. Devastated and humiliated, Ainsley turns to her half sister, Kate, who's already struggling after the sudden loss of her new husband.

When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.
