Sure a harem novel whatever can be overwhelming sometimes. Great idea on concept of so called game. Finally a character that’s not a complete bitch with crazy ptsd like most litrpg. Great narrator. Sure spend your money if your ok with harem and adult humor. However after all 3 books there’s a lot of holes as if the authors completely forgot to go back and wrap them up or had no idea what exactly what he was going to do to finish the story. Some of it is predictable. Finale seemed rushed wasn’t unsatisfied with actions taken however MC OP.

The Earth is changing. The alien invasion brought social upheaval, advanced technology, and an armada of peacekeeping robots. But Alan, a college student pursuing a now-useless degree, cares little about all of this. He has only one thing on his mind: the Game. A fully immersive virtual reality, the Game appears to be a major part of the invading civilization. Alan can't wait to play, recklessly diving into the digital universe. Soon though, Alan realizes the Game is anything but simple, and the stakes are higher than he ever imagined.

By working together, Henry Sato and Jason Booth have managed to survive their unwanted trip to Ludus, an experiment planet. However, Delvers LLC has made some enemies...if monsters, bandits, mages, criminals, bounty hunters, and even dark cults can be called, "some enemies." After their latest battle, the two have been separated and must adapt or die. Henry in particular faces a trial by fire - perhaps literally - that may be impossible for him to overcome. The two American men will face their greatest challenges yet while working as conscripted Berber Intelligence agents. But even while outnumbered, and most likely outgunned, the former veteran EMT and resilient IT programmer will be armed with modern Earth know-how.

No need to spend money here. It is very unfulfilling. The authors rambling of political views and emotional stress of the character removes you from the world he created. The world he created was a great idea and was entertaining until the story doesn’t become a story just an emotional political garbage. Pass it up if you have anything else to read.

A ploy to get more lgbtq community involvement in this genre takes up probably half this book. I’m not saying that’s a bad idea but I came here to escape the world not to see discrimination and political stance of our current world. The story is narrated well and even though book 2 is slower progression due to authors political ploy the story is still good. aT least enough for me to buy book 3. Again we buy these books to escape life not dwell on our problems we all should be accepted no matter sex race age sexual orientation. We know this some just seem to ignore it but it doesn’t need to be rammed down my mouth for half a book.

Henry and Jason led normal lives in Seattle before they were abducted to another world. Their kidnapper, the vain, self-styled god Dolos, refuses to send them back unless they can accomplish an impossible task. Oddly, Dolos doesn't seem to care if they succeed or not. Luckily, Henry and Jason studied Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) on Earth. Unfortunately, a Japanese American EMT and a geeky IT programmer don't have many other useful skills on a sword-and-sorcery world like Ludus.

It's real. All of it. A realm of blasters, spaceships, and magic. A universe where people really can increase in skill and power, becoming so much more than they once were. All it takes is the locked potential of every foe you slay, their stories becoming your own. Yet there is horror as well as wonder in this magical realm, and when Val locks gazes with a beautiful girl moments away from death, he comes face-to-face with a lost tribe of people long thought extinct.

Unbelievable and full of animalistic juvenile ramblings on so called love. First I’m sick and tired of a stupid mc who’s a vet with ptsd. The story at its best is still full of holes. Don’t buy this unless your literally out of other shit to read and even then buy at your own risk. Liars rate this above two stars.
