This audiobook has a great selection of fun family friendly games. There was a bunch of games that I have played before but had totally forgotten about and can't wait to play again. There was also some really fun twists on traditional family favorites that I am really looking forward to trying on our next games night. I love that there is a variety of outdoor and indoor options so that whatever the weather there is plenty of fun to be had.

I’ve had some problems with bloating and pain for a while so was interested in what I could apply from this diet to help me. I was really shocked to learn what inflammation can cause but was relieved to learn that steps can be taken to control, manage and in some circumstances even reverse the effects of chronic inflammation.
I have a whole list of foods I am going to be adding to my diet and more importantly a bunch I will be taking away, but I am super excited to try some of these recipes, they really sound not only nutritious but delicious.

I have always been intrigued by yoga as I have heard about its many benefits but have always remained a little dubious especially by the ‘spiritual’ and religious side of yoga. That’s why I loved that this book focuses on the physical benefits and explains why yoga works as I was interested in how the exercises could help my body build strength and better posture.
I found it fascinating how much yoga could help me in other aspects for example preventing migraines, alleviating stress and stimulate good health in general. It also helps with my breathing problems as it teaches you breathing techniques that help deepen your breathing which has helped me to feel more energised.
This book has a very informative intro and then introduces the stretches and exercises and highlights the target areas and specific benefits of each one. Although ideally it would be good to have a visual of the exercise, this audio book does explain each exercise step by step in detail so you can get started.

I have just recently got married and I am having to cook a lot more than I have ever had to before. I'm not an experienced or confident cook but I am a huge fan of slow cookers, they just work perfectly with my busy schedule so I was super happy to find this audio book which was full of delicious and simple recipes that I cannot wait to try. I have a bunch of old favorites that I always do in the slow cooker but this really opened up my eyes to how versatile a cooking method it is and how much more I can use it.
I really liked the tempo of the narration as it gave me enough time to make notes of the ingredients and method.

The Elders is another great addition to the Mind Dimension series by Dima Zales. From beginning to end it is intensely action packed. It continues the story of Darren who through the series is progressively becoming more and more enlightened in regards to his family, his abilities and their associated responsibilities. However it seems, just as one question is answered another ten arise and so Darren is again sent on a whirlwind adventure.
This time Darren is on a mission to seek out the identity of the Super Pusher who is out to get not only Darren, but his family and all those close to him and so in order to protect them he must find answers. This sends him on a journey to a mysterious island to meet The Elders, in order to find out their purpose and their connection to The Enlightened but also in order to fully explore and understand the extent of his abilities.
It is very dramatic and full of suspense; there is a lot of busy action scenes but also moments of eerie calm, serenity and clarity. Another brilliantly thought out and clever plot line, looking forward to the next installment!

A great sequel to the very captivating “The Thought Readers”, this book had a lot to live up to but it does not disappoint and is a great piece of literary work in its own right. This is the story of Darren, who at the end of the last book is left questioning the full extent of his abilities, could it be that he is actually a Thought Pusher and not just a Thought Reader? This follow up develops Darren’s road of self discovery, for example who were his birth parents and what were they hiding that led to their untimely death? Who was responsible for killing them and is Darren facing the same deadly fate? If he truly is a Pusher, what does that mean for him and ultimately his very fragile relationship with the untrusting Mira who has sworn vengeance on all Pushers?
This is a very dramatic and intense story, in which you really gain a deeper understanding of the characters. The plot is developed and progresses very cleverly. I was pretty sure I knew how this sequel would go, but it kept me guessing right up to the end with suspenseful plot twists, it leaves you wanting more. This is a very exciting and captivating psychological thriller and an extremely promising sci-fi series.

This book tells the story of a world in which sorcerers act as the ruling class over the peasantry- which is something Blaise, master sorcerer and former prominent member of the Sorcerers’ council, strives to change. To make magic more accessible to one and all, Blaise immerses himself into finding a way of bringing magic to the people- only it doesn’t exactly take the form he expects- the result? The beautiful and perfectly formed Gala- an inquisitive and intelligent woman that becomes subject to Blaise’s infatuation from their very first dramatic and revealing meeting. It soon becomes very apparent that Blaise’s creation is capable of far more than he could ever have imagined.
Blaise is instantly bewitched by his creation and seeks to find out the level of her magical abilities, however releases her into the world under the watchful care of trusted friends Esther and Maya in order to prevent the powerful and inexperienced Gala from drawing too much attention to herself and wreaking havoc. However is Gala ready for the world? And is the world ready for Gala? Obviously not, for as soon as Augusta (Blaise’s ex fiancée) gathers info on Gala’s existence she seeks to eliminate the ‘creature’ with the help of Barson (her lover) and the Sorcerers’ Council. However a web of deceit and manipulation begins to form as everyone ruthlessly seeks their own ambitions and intentions whilst trying to capture the “creature”. Will Augusta succeed in getting rid of Gala and all of her mysterious charm and increasing power and influence? You have to read and find out.
From beginning to end this book is extremely intriguing and captivating. Gala’s character is mysterious and seductive, the combination of innocence and incredible power makes for a very interesting read. The interaction between the characters’ story lines are also very interesting and is written in a excellent way that conveys all the tensions and emotions between them. A very cleverly written book!

Any additional comments?

This tells the story of Darren, who uses his unique ability of being able to step outside the boundaries of time and explore his surroundings whilst the world stands still in order to cheat in life and re-invent himself as wealthy, intelligent playboy. Darren had never understood his skill or where it had come from and assumed that he was the only one who could bend time in this way, until the day he comes across Mira in one of his moments within what he likes to call “The Quiet”. This leads Darren on a dangerous adventure of self discovery in search for answers and understanding of his full capabilities as “A Reader”.This is an extremely captivating and exciting story. It is written very well and flows from beginning to end, making you want to read or listen on and not stop. I like the fact it is all narrated from Darren’s point of view, although sometimes it comes across a little monotone in the audio, it leads to an interesting and descriptive perspective. It is effective in immersing you in the storyline from the very beginning and captures the imagination. The characters are intriguing, engaging and believable and although it is a very simple story, it is a fantastic concept- it is fast paced and thrilling and I can definitely foresee this book becoming a film the future.
