Why choose this as your next vampire/witch/angel novel? It's extremely well-written, with just the right mix of action, heart, thrills and concept. The main character has such a burden, carries such a world-shaking responsibility in her veins, but she is strong in the places that matter. She's a young woman thrown into dangers and heartache, loss and fear, but with a little help from her extraordinary friends, she just might save us all! The beings around her are strongly individual, fiercely what they are, but they're also young and questioning themselves. The audio edition is excellent! A terrific voice that is perfect for the main character and for the narrative. Very well done!

With Brave Wings She Flies is an edgy short story about the Archangel Michael and a demon, who wager for a young mother's soul. An inspiring tale of love and courage, it is the first in a planned series about this provocative female manifestation of the Archangel Michael.

If you could sum up With Brave Wings She Flies in three words, what would they be?

Protection, choices, sacrifice

The self-discovery of inner strength can be startling, especially when you aren't sure you have that strength before the ultimate need for it arises. This is more than a tale of bravery -- it is the story of faith and hope wrapped in electric, thrilling wings. A mother has to find a way to save her child and herself from two branches of the caves of hell. Her plan is risky, but any roll of the dice in her predicament is equally as risky. Enjoy this crafty game of wits and angels devised by a master storyteller.

In an unfortunate case of mistaken identity, pampered show dog Talisman is switched with a cowdog and has to work on a ranch for the day. By the time her harrowing adventure is over, she is in desperate need of a massage, a session with her Reiki Master, a consultation with the pet psychic, a full grooming, and a pedicure. However, along the way she learns powerful lessons - including the discovery that she's so much more than just another pretty face.

Funny, sweet, exciting

Any additional comments?

I am a sucker for tales of mistaken identity, but this is the first I've encountered of the canine variety. Such fun! Take a sassy, pampered show dog and mix her up with a working dog, add humor and heart in a tale for all ages, and Show Dog Sings the Blues will be the lovely, exciting result! I have read the book and now it was such a treat to hear it read to me, too. Great writing makes this an audio book to hear again and again. Recommended highly!

Fun, heartfelt, exciting

What was one of the most memorable moments of Red Hot Property?

There is a scene of the agents taking a whirlwind tour of the properties the firm has listed. Hilarious! This whole book is full of great moments, really!

Any additional comments?

You don't have to know anything about the real estate business - I didn't - before pouring yourself a glass of tea, grabbing a Snuggie, and settling down to listen. The cast of characters in this drama/comedy/thriller/musical theater/romance of a book are over-the-top in the best sense of that expression. But they're also sometimes-frustratingly human (except for the dogs, but even they seem a bit human!) and always convincingly true. Family, clients, co-workers, dogs, and even the walking disasters all have a heartbeat and an individual voice. And all of them have depth, not just some pale, watery wash for a hint of color on their pages. Nope. These people live and breathe, kiss and back-stab, scream and whisper, party and do serious business, cry and laugh - all to a riotous background of thumping, familiar music that makes the whole book dance on a desktop and swear its reality from the backseat of a convertible lowrider named Destiny.

I'm stealing a line from the author when I say this, I know, but I do want to tell you that Red Hot Property is one great place to call home!
