This is a nice sweet story. Only a little bit of angst, but you’re not really left worried that they won’t make it through in the end.

The story was great. As to be expected from Aiden Bates. The narration was also good.

I haven’t done all of the books in the series but of the ones I have this is my favorite. It’s a good story and the narration is great.

The story was as good as to be expected for these authors. The editing on the audio needs work. In the beginning there were light echoing and muffled sounds. During the last third of it there were lines repeated throughout, like when editing clips together they didn’t cut in on the right spot.

This is the first audiobook I’ve had that I didn’t read the story first. The narration is great. Smooth and easy to follow.
I wasn’t a fan of the story. I didn’t like Elliot for most of the story. He was fine in the beginning and at the end, much for much of the middle I couldn’t stand him. I dislike stories where one character, in an effort to protect themselves from some possible future, will cut off any avenue where this possible future may occur. Usually cutting off any chance of a relationship. Especially when they barely know the other person and just make a whole bunch of assumptions. What’s worse is when they make these choices and try to cut out the other parent of their child because it’s what’s “best for them and the child”. As long as the other parent is a decent person, than cutting them from their child’s life is never what’s best for the child. Also this story jumped quickly from them being at odds to declaring mutual love far too quickly for me.

I loved this story when I read it when it first came out. This audio book is very well done. The narrative is smooth and there is no stilted reading that you get with some audiobooks. This made me remember how much I love the story and the series. I can’t wait to revisit this world.
