Evan is definitively an actor, lol, it was so funny to see his internal ramblings, and at the same time, his bluntness and sarcastic humor…

At first, JD struck me as a hard core guy, but as they start to chat and get to know each other, I found he was actually, a sweet, hurt and quiet guy…

JD is mortified that Evan watched his fight with his brother, so when Evan asked him to pretend to be his boyfriend during the holidays at his family’s house, he’s sure Evan was acting out of pity and didn’t want to accept.

When Evan could (finally) convince JD that he would be the one doing him a favor, so no one would know how Evan was dumped by his boyfriend, he accepted Evan’s offer.

Evan’s family are really supportive and their different holiday traditions are sweet!!!

To see the interaction between JD and Evan is heart warming, they are perfect for each other! While JD is quiet, Evan is blunt and his family accepts JD from the start… It’s great to see they getting to know each other and the feelings growing between them.

K.C. Kelly did an amazing job with this book’s narration.

I’m proud to confess that I was converted from a person that didn’t like Christmas books to a person that loves them!!!

So, as a new addicted to Christmas books and audiobooks, I jumped at the chance to review Cold Feet from Jay Northcote (the fact that I had just finished “The little things” and loved it was a bonus - hehehe)

We meet Ryan and Sam while they get snowed alone in a remote cottage… They are best friends, they share a house, and Sam is out and proud… What Sam never confessed to anyone, was his interest in his straight best friend…

Ryan, on the other hand, never though that he would have the guts to act on his secret attraction to Sam… or to confess that he’s not as straight as anyone thinks.

But their isolation and a cold cottage, will make wonders to get them together… even if they need the excuse of warming each other while sleeping to act on their attraction.

This is an extremely sweet story and I loved to see how Sam and Ryan tried their best.. first to avoid their attraction, then finally, how they gave themselves to it.

And those two can melt snow with their passion… ;)

I can’t forget to mention the amazing job Matthew Lloyd Davies did with this book’s narration - Thank you Matthew for giving life to this great book…

I was really worried by Scott and all his online experience of meeting a guy from another country and being "invited" to go live with Jeff in UK... But then, when I though things would really get bad for Scott, he met Ben...
Ben is a Dom in training at Collars and Cufs and he let's Scott live with him temporarilly until a better solution if found for Scott.
I must confess that I wanted to hit Ben upside the head a lot of times, to make him see what was right in front of him, and that Scott was perfect for him.
Even wanting to strangle Ben a few times (hehehe), I loved this story and how Scott and Ben found their way into a relationship.

Would you listen to Blame It on the Mistletoe again? Why?

YESSSSS, Actually I have already listened to it again.
Because it's such a cute book and OMG Jason Frazier did an amazing job on the narration.

What other book might you compare Blame It on the Mistletoe to and why?

to Loving Jay by Renae Kaye - they're both books that make you want to read it again. I love a sassy and funny mc in a book

Which character – as performed by Jason Frazier – was your favorite?

Ohhhhh that's hard... Fielding grabed me by his sweetness and innocence. But I so loved Jason performing Mick - I'll pick Fielding but it was a close call

Who was the most memorable character of Blame It on the Mistletoe and why?

Fielding... he's unforgetable and so cute!!!

Any additional comments?

I was thrilled by this book from the start. The way that Fielding entered Mick's life like a cute, innocent hurricane, throwing Mick's convictions thru the air and leaving the poor footbal player totally lost and hooked (even without realising it).
Their friendship and interactions were pretty funny and amazing and this is a book that I'll read more than once for sure.
The Narrator Jason Frazier did a GREAT job on this book. I'll certanly look for more books narrated by him.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would be happy to recommend this story to anyone, the storyline was solid, and it was every bit of the stellar work I have come to expect from this author!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Boy Who Came in from the Cold?

When Todd's mom and stepdad showed up, my heart broke for Todd, but I was proud of him too, and I believe he really came into his own in that scene!

What does Charlie David bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved the narrators mastery of all the accents he had to use in this one, he was very very good and you believed you were really hearing the story as it played out, and that is hard to do!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I must admit I only took a break from listening to this one to cook and spend some time with my kids, this is such a good story I wanted to listen all at one time!
