The narrator initially sounded monotone. It that improved. There were other points where narrative went monotone. Perhaps it was to reflect how the character was viewing life at that moment. The rest of the story was engaging.

The story overall was on point and hopefully will help to educate families and the public about this timely topic.

The narrator can make or break a book for me. Kelley Hazen was inconsistent in the use of voices for characters. Sometimes she sounded like a monotone robot voice like whisper sync. There were other times when she used good inflection and emotion and made the story come alive. I enjoy stories like this. I enjoyed that it wasn't filled with four letter words and explicit sex. There was romance and reference to steamy sex. There was emotional expression of anger and frustration. It was nice to hear people use their words to express themselves.

I wasn't sure if this was for adolescents or adults. I really enjoyed the narrator. The story was interesting. There were parts that I thought would be great for a child to hear and possibly draw guidance for life learning skills. However, there were other parts of the presentation that I would not be comfortable suggesting for an adolescent to hear. It would be great if every child could have such rapport with teachers and achieve success with so much support and self-direction. It was a nice little story.
