When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has 10,000 dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and a Judge Judy-loving best friend riding shotgun - but no Katherines.

Very entertaining - even for adults

This is categorized as a young adult book but I enjoyed it very much as an adult. The author is one of the popular vlogbrothers from YouTube.com - two brothers who spent a year talking to each other mainly in YouTube video blogs - highly entertaining as well. I decided to try his book and am glad I did. It left me smiling. And thinking of my own life and the choices I have made and have yet to make. The narrator did a great job as well.

I just bought his other book - Looking for Alaska.

Conrad's Fate is part of the clever and humorous Chrestomanci series. Twelve-year-old Conrad Tesdinic is in disguise as a servant-in-training at Stallery Mansion in the town of Stallchester. He wants to figure out what evil he caused in a past life. Not her best in the series but definitely worth reading. The series consists of 4 books based in the same univers....sort of. It isn't necessary to read them in order to enjoy them although reading "A Charmed Life" will help you understand this book a bit better. I would recommend this book for both young adults and adults.

Excellent young adult book that adults would like as well. For the first time, after seeing reviews that say if you like Harry Potter you will like this book, do I agree. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and wish more of Diana Wynne Jones' books were available in audio.
