I have listened to about 120 audiobooks in the past five years and this one is arguably the best, even better than the first in the series. Compelling story, beautifully written and by far the best adaptation to an audiobook because the reader catches so much of the essence of the characters. I believe that the reader made this book better than the written word can possibly cover because he brings the story to life. I have listened to this book again and again and again. And so should you.

I am a long-time and quite devoted fan of mystery and suspence novels and will snatch up novels by my favorite authors the moment they hit the shelf. I prefer listening to reading though andafter 12 years of listening to books on tape, I've graduated to an iPod thanks to my niece. I must admit I loved every moment of Blindsided.

No question, this is simply delicious. I like the interaction between characters, and the brilliant reading. Altough some people, I have read in various reviews, had a hard time warming up to reader, I think the reader is brilliant. I liked him from the start. I liked especially that he seems to capture the characters exactly. I can literally see the characters speaking.

Toward the end of the book, I had a hard time stopping. Perhaps that was because this was a suspense book as much as it is a mystery, but wheever the case, I was glued to the reading. I'm a new fan of this author and this reader.

The most delightful aspect of this well-written story is that Mr. Giles doesn't rush his story, his characters or your pleasure in enjoying the book. Bravo!! Read this book and enjoy yourself! It won't hurt to have a nice glass of wine and some tasty snacks nearby while you do.
