To make the journey into The Power of Now you need to leave your analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. Access to the Now is everywhere - in the body, the silence, and the space all around you. These are the keys to enter a state of inner peace.

OMG I can't stand the narrator!! I am not picky but this is the WORST performance I have ever heard, ever. It is so bad it makes the book unbearable to listen to.

Sarah has never been so certain of anything. So when Eddie leaves for a long-booked vacation and promises to call from the airport, she has no cause to doubt him. But he doesn't call. Sarah's friends tell her to forget about him, but she can't. She knows something's happened - there must be an explanation.

The story is very trite and hard to get into. No self-respecting 40-year-old woman would put this much thought into a man she only spent one week with and it is hard to get past that. The lead behaves like a teenager and it is super boring to hear about. Will he text, is he going to text, I'm looking on my phone and I don't see a text bubble, a text bubble would mean he is texting me but he is not. Why is he not texting me? No joke, the book goes on like this forever! We get it, he is not texting. The end is good if you can hang in there past the boring 1st half.

Milk and Honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. About the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. The audiobook is divided into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose. Deals with a different pain. Heals a different heartache. Milk and Honey takes listeners through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look.

It is well done but the subject matter is dark and depressing. I did not like the book. I can see why others connected with it but this book was not for me.

What did you like best about Leave Your Mark? What did you like least?

It really is for 16-20 year olds. Basic, basic stuff like how to write a cover letter, don't have your mom call in and ask for a job for you, ect.

Would you be willing to try another book from Aliza Licht? Why or why not?

no

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Aliza Licht?

She was ok, but just ok. Being SO into image you would think she would hire someone to do this

Any additional comments?

This book is so basic. Was really hoping for something more. This is a book for a kid, not a business person.

What disappointed you about The Prettiest One?

I did not like this one. I did not like the male narrator for a woman's story, his voice was not appealing. The story was boring. would skip it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Bon Shaw’s performances?
