The breathtaking latest installment in Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard's mega-best-selling Killing series transports listeners to the most important era in our nation's history, the Revolutionary War. Told through the eyes of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Great Britain's King George III, Killing England chronicles the path to independence in gripping detail, taking the listener from the battlefields of America to the royal courts of Europe.

By any measure, this is a highly readable yet superficial exploration of the Revolutionary era in America. While the performance by Mr. Petkoff is professional, the technical production is a distraction. There are many ‘dubs’, for whatever reason, and the changes in tone, volume and cadence is sloppy technical work.
I have great respect for Mr. O’Reilly. His spoken preface is awful. It He lacks cadence, inflection and tone. I will ponder this when I watch his broadcasts henceforth.
