Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Witty, funny, charming listen about the author, read by the author herself, and I am thrilled she did read her own book. I never read aloud as eloquently as Anna Kendrick did, and her telling her stories made this a truly enjoyable listen that constantly pulled my focus. I absolutely adore the stories and the way she tells them. She hooked all my friends and family who heard only a few words. I am looking forward to the next audio book from Anna Kendrick; she is an absolute gem.

Unique premise and storyline, kept my attention, and I did not want to put it down (my phone) but did to enjoy the story over several days and not all at once. Story flowed smoothly and came to life with the performance of the reader. She transitioned seemlessly between characters with each having their own distinct flavor.

Definitely worth the time listening to.

Worst parts: Listen ended too soon. NEED more!!

loved it. worth listening time but too short. I loved the reader's style who did much more to bring the story and characters to life, much better than my own imagination.
