Who knew my brother's friend could be Mr. Right, and not just Mr. Right Now? My brother refused to introduce me, so I blame him. If he'd just caved, and introduced me to Jasper, I wouldn't be in this mess. I mean, really, what's the big deal? I'm not interested in the guy's looks. Oh no, I want his cold hard cash. (Be honest, you were expecting that other four letter ‘c' word weren't you?) Now, before you go getting all judgy, I'm not a gold digger. I have a legitimate business opportunity for Jasper to invest in. The problem is that my stick-up-his-ass brother is embarrassed that his twin sister invents kick ass sex toys. His problem, not mine.

No matter how many times I read Mad About the Banker, it is still my favorite Piper Rayne book. Molly Mermelstein did a fantastic job with this book and this whole series. The way she is able to portray all of the different voices with each one sounding distinct is amazing to me and I am truly impressed.

Lennon is my favorite character from the Modern Love series and her story is even better in audio. Ms. Mermelstein did an excellent job of portraying the emotions and it let you feel those emotions that much more. Piper Rayne wrote an excellent book and picked the perfect narrator. I'm sad that this series has ended but love that Piper and Rayne keep writing more. I can't wait to listen to the rest of their books on audio!

What does a girl do after she discovers her fiancé is a cheating bastard? Adventure Dating, my friends dared. I thought they were crazy, but I'm not one to back down from a challenge, so I signed up for the entire four-week deal. That's where I saw him. Lucas Cummings. He isn't the classic rich boy I usually end up with. He's a rough and tough bad boy that all fathers warn their daughters about. Sold, I said to myself, until I discovered he was so much more than just a boxer.

Driving Whiskey Wild is my first audio book by Melissa Foster. It is also my first audio book with Paul Woodson narrating. He gave this story so much life and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Melissa Foster writes an MC book like no other I have read. I typically don't care for them but I figured I would give it a shot since she is one of my favorite authors. The Whiskeys are tough and run a biker club so I wasn't expecting to like them because it's just not my thing. However, they are also hard working, have a strong set of values, and stay true to themselves no matter what. You get the tough, hard hitting story that comes with an MC romance but you also get some of the sweet, tender romance that Melissa Foster is great at.

As far as Paul Woodson goes, his narration gave the characters so much. He set the tone for each character and I could really feel the emotions in his voice.

Red flags.... Too loud. Too clingy. Too much make-up. I could go on and on. The other guys in the Single Dads Club would say I'm obsessed with finding them. But none of their kids' mothers call a maximum-security prison home either, so their opinions mean shit. Caterina Santora has her own list of red flags.... She's too young. She's my client's daughter. She's my five-year-old's camp counselor. The fact that she doesn't remember me from six years before grates on me until I don't have it in me to leave her alone any longer.

I really enjoyed Real Deal when I read the kindle version so I knew I would love the audio version. At first I didn't care for either Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I thought they didn't match the characters. However, the longer I listened, I realized how wrong I was. They brought the characters to life and I ended up really enjoying the audio. The only thing that I couldn't get over was Lily's voice. She sounded way too old for a 5 year old so sometimes I forgot she was the one speaking.

Believe. A message that still taunts her years after the passing of her daughter. In the days of her daughter's illness, she considered herself a seeker, open to the possibilities of prayer and faith. Now cynical and guarded, she is forced to reexamine her beliefs and relive her past when an old love resurfaces, with a sick child of his own. Believe is a story that examines fractures to our foundations in the face of tragedy. It is a story that asks if prayers are always answered, but often in ways we do not see.

Believe is the story of one woman's loss and the emotions and feelings she goes through on her journey of healing. You will go through all of those emotions with her and if you have ever lost anyone you were close to, you will know exactly where she is coming from. It's hard not to question what you believe after you lose someone and I thought the author did an excellent job of portraying this.

Shelly Hickman wrote and narrated this book and I really enjoyed both the writing and the narration. Her voice is clear and crisp and the emotion in the writing comes through in the narration.

From the title, it might be assumed that this is a spiritual book but it is not. There is strong language involved. This book is about hope and healing and I really enjoyed it.

Who knew sleeping with the enemy could be this fun? Was the one night stand a good idea? Well, no. Probably not in retrospect. In my defense, I had just moved back into my grandparents' house, I'd lost my dream job, and a guy on Tinder had stood me up. It was like life had suddenly stamped 'loser' on my forehead. I fully admit to feeling sorry for myself and acting impulsively, but by the time I'd figured out who the bartender was, I was already falling for him.

Let's get one thing straight - I'm not your usual bad boy billionaire. I'm actually a nice guy. A very nice guy who also enjoys turning a woman over my knee and spanking her ass until she begs for mercy - AKA a good, hard, hold-her-down-and-teach-her-who's-boss f--k. I'm a gentleman in the boardroom and a dominant in the bedroom. I've also been secretly in love with my sweet, sexy, too-innocent-for-her-own-good executive assistant, Jane, for the better part of two years.

The narrators couldn't have been more perfect for the story! C.J. Mission's voice was exactly what I pictured for Ten and he did an excellent job. Devra Woodward surprised me. When I first heard her, I will admit that I thought she wasn't a good match for Jane and I thought I would hate the parts narrated by her. She ended up giving Jane a new light than what I originally expected and I fell in love with the parts that she did. Overall, I thought both narrators brought an excellent rendition to Lili Valente's work and hope to be able to enjoy more audio from each of them in the future.

Lili Valente has a dark twisted mind to come up with the stories she does but they are magnificent. She really knows how to bring the spark.

Dark Domination is a quick introduction to the twins and is Hannah and Jackson's story. Harley did a very bad thing to Jackson and now he wants to make her pay. Unbeknownst to him, the girl he is about to make a deal with to get back at is Harley's twin, Hannah. They had one night together a while that Hannah hasn't forgotten and Jackson isn't prepared for her reaction to him.

The narration makes this story even better. Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne do an excellent job of capturing Hannah and Jackson. I can't wait to listen to the rest of this series!
