Her late-night calls from the office to the mysterious “Mr. D.” grow increasingly intimate, until they finally become full-blown phone sex. Still, Jo doesn’t dare meet him. Instead, she embarks on a series of sizzling sexual escapades with other guys, sharing every sweaty moment with Mr. D. afterward, a passion-by-proxy arrangement they both get off on.

Would you listen to Tell Me More again? Why?

No, the ending actually had me yelling out loud... I was so upset

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Hated it because she was such a heartless person... Love the hero but the heroine was so self centered.

Have you listened to any of Lola Holiday’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I like her

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes except for the end...

Graham Greene’s evocative analysis of the love of self, the love of another, and the love of God is an English classic that has been translated for the stage, the screen, and even the opera house. Academy Award-winning actor Colin Firth ( The King’s Speech, A Single Man) turns in an authentic and stirring performance for this distinguished audio release.

What disappointed you about The End of the Affair?

The narrator was very boring... I loved Colin Firth in all of his movies but I guess his facial expressions always carried him in films... not a great book narrator

Would you be willing to try another book from Graham Greene? Why or why not?

yes, I thought the story was good but the voice was hard to overcome

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Colin Firth?

No sure

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Storyline was ok

The narrators voice is so monotone and gravely that I couldn't even concentrate on the story. I was very disappointed. I will listen to the review from now on.
