This is anything but a straight line. Lots of fluff to make it longer than it should be. For someone who professes to cut to the chase he sure doesn’t alot of talking.

In this follow-up book, Look Before Your LIRP, he makes the case that, while a variety of LIRPs may help get you to the 0% tax bracket, not all will do so with the same efficiency or effectiveness. In fact, finding the right LIRP for your tax-free retirement plan can be just like finding the ideal spouse. Just as you likely had a list of qualities you were looking for in a life-long partner, you should have certain attributes and provisions in mind when looking for the ideal LIRP.

I was disappointed this was a product pitch more than a conceptual discussion. Some good takeaways but seems to lean too heavily on one product. Better to read the book in order to understand the numbers and charts.

I didn't buy this book to hear stats read back to me. Could've been a lot shorter if I just skipped to the summary sections. Not much new here for me.

Author is full of himself. Book could've been much shorter without the long winded stories. Not really applicable to much more than venture capital industry.
