Ride along with 9-year old “sunling” Gustafer, in this otherworldly, melancholy musical comedy that takes place entirely on our closest star - The Sun! As if the stress of the annual Tiger Face holiday season wasn’t enough, the young sun-dweller Gustafer must face the nasty neighborhood bullies and overcome his fear of telling his father the awful truth: he doesn’t want to inherit the family raisin-butchering business. Despite help from his best friend Ellen and over-achieving big brother, Ben, Gustafer faces the ultimate crossroad when he sees a darker opportunity to control his own destiny on the Sun.

The music in this story is awesome and sooo catchy. I dare you to listen and not spontaneously burst out singing the main song, "I'm from the sun". It seriously sounds like a lost Beatles track. Really excited to play this one for my kids.

After living through the *NSYNC craze, it was amazing to hear Lance Bass reflect on his experience and get a behind the scenes look at what was really going on, plus, Lance's coming out story is pretty awesome. The other stories were great and hilarious as well. #NSYNC4LIFE

Randy and Jason Sklar have a knack for exploring what makes America’s cities unique and wonderful, whether it’s finding out who in San Diego serves the best burritos, why basketball is so popular among those in Bloomington, or why the people of Portland can't let go of their old airport carpeting.

Where does Sklars and Stripes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

These dudes are funny, straight up. I love hearing them come up with their act and it's awesome to hear them work stuff out, then deliver it on stage. This is an awesome way to get a glimpse into the actual life of a touring comedian...and their twin brother.

What other book might you compare Sklars and Stripes to and why?

This book stands on its own, I think it's a pretty unique approach.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love the episode where they go home to their hometown of St. Louis and visit their old high school and pizza place....which by the way, sounds putrid.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was moved to hilarious laughter throughout this adventure.

Would you listen to VIP Pass: SF Sketchfest again? Why?

Absolutely. This was a fun and breezy listen, perfect for the commute that gave me the sense of a comedy festival. I attended the festival, but it's impossible to catch everything so I got to hear highlights from the shows I missed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of VIP Pass: SF Sketchfest?

I loved hearing Ricky Gervais in conversation with Christopher Guest. Those are two of my comedy heroes so was awesome to hear them going back and forth!

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

VIP Pass doesn't really have a narrator, it's more like a documentary which was cool.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cracked up on the bus during some of the stand up jokes!

In 2009, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed at the Super Bowl's halftime show. The experience was so exhilarating that Bruce decided to write about it. That's how this extraordinary autobiography began. Over the past seven years, Bruce Springsteen has privately devoted himself to writing the story of his life, bringing to this audio the same honesty, humor, and originality found in his songs.

Would you consider the audio edition of Born to Run to be better than the print version?

I was already a Springsteen fan before, but listening to Born to Run provides an even deeper appreciation for the music by introducing readers to the charecters and stories behind the songs.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Born to Run?

I loved hearing about a young Springsteen and his band coming out to Big Sur, California in the 70's and being blown away by the hippie scene.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are many moving moments surrounding Springsteen's relationship with his father, bandmates and children, but I was particularly moved by the end of the book when Bruce inspires his readers to tell their own story.
