Over the past decade, Khaz has watched as supernatural creatures like himself have turned the world into their own personal playground. Unlike the others, he didn't benefit from the Takeover, and every time he sells himself to keep a roof over his head, he's keenly aware of that fact. His landlord, a renowned slaver, offers him the chance to catch up on his rent by breaking a human.

I'll be honest here and tell you that this stirred up a lot of emotions in me, not all of them good, but for a book to grab and hold me like that, the author has to be really good. I ached for Khaz and especially for Noah, they'd both been dealt a horrible hand in life, and despite the circumstances I was glad they'd found each other.

Jack Noble's narration was very good and I'll definitely continnue with this series.

I'm not that much of a fan of mysteries and suspence books, but this one was an exception. Maybe because there's a lot of romance, more than I thought it would be, and we get to know the characters and believe in their connection. They were great together and the chemistry was hot.

I haven't read Unbreakable Bonds series, of which this is a spin-off, but I didn't feel that this was a problem in following what happened in this book.

As usual Kenwth Obi did a great job with the narration, I especially liked his flirty Geoffrey. There are a lot of male voices in thus book, but they are made different enough for there never to be any doubt as to who was talking.

I've already bought the next book in audio and will definitely continue lustening to this series.

First of all, this is not a stand-alone, it's a continuation of the story from book one, and you need to read/listen to that one first.

If possible I loved this book even more than the first one. I loved how the relationship evolved and how especially Jackson and Sawyer developed. Not much development in Cooper though, he was all-in and enthusiastic from the get go and he's his bouncy self here too. Jackson finds more confidence as a master in this book and Sawyer becomes a bit more trusting and opens up a bit more. He still has a bit to go though, and I hope that will happen in the next book.

As with the first book Kenneth Obi's narration is perfect. He gives an added dimension to M.A. Innes great story and the voices are distinguishable and they just fit the characters so well. Can't wait for the nest book in this series!

One accident has turned Jackson’s life completely upside down. When Jackson’s sister inadvertently posts an ad for a puppy play book instead of his dog training business, his inbox explodes with the most interesting emails he’s ever seen. In a sea of kink that he’s never even considered, one sweet letter stands out. It’s polite and earnest, and something about the two men’s words touches him in a way he never expected...but they’re not just looking for a lover...they’re looking for a master.

I'm fairly new to audio books, but this was one book the definitely makes me want to listen to more, much more.

I loved this charming and sexy story about Jackson, who accidentally meets the two young men of his dreams - without even looking for them! They were looking for the Master of their dreams though, and their search brought them to Jackson, which turned out to be a match made in Puppy Heaven. The two young men, Sawyer and Cooper, enjoy puppy play, something Jackson knows nothing about to start with, but he quickly learns, and finds out that he wants to learn about it. And he wants to get to know Sawyer and Cooper. What follows is how they get to know each other and find that they're suited and begin to have feelings for each other. Well, Sawyer and Cooper are already in a relationship when the book starts, but they find out that they want to be in a relationship together all three of them.

All three MCs are wonderful in their own way and Kenneth Obi makes them come alive with distinct voices that match their personalities perfectly. I love how he makes their feelings show in their voices, all the longing, doubt, excitement, and love that is present in M.A. Innes' wonderful story. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series, and meet our guys again!
