I bought this because it seemed to check off several of my latest favorite boxes in the Paranormal genre. It was just meh overall. It all happened over the course of three days and ended with such a rush that I cannot believe any of the content- fantasy or not! I will not be continuing the series. I’ve read better books with better thought out storylines.

I should have known I would be as bored with it as I was the Di Vinci Code, as they both were supposed to do wonders for their personal genres but are apparently overrated.

Stopping a tornado was the first of many strange events that seem to follow Weylyn from town to town, although he doesn't like to take credit. As amazing as these powers may appear, they tend to manifest themselves at inopportune times and places. From freak storms to trees that appear to grow over night, Weylyn's unique abilities are a curiosity at best and at worst, a danger to himself and the woman he loves. But Mary doesn't care.

I was book shopping and and looking through books that were recommended to me. I accidentally bought this book instead of The Name of the Wind because I was in a hurry and not paying attention! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT THIS ACCIDENTAL WONDER WAS PURCHASED!

At first I wasn’t sure about the book but that was because it wasn’t what I was expecting to read. I don’t normally like audio books that have multiple POV changes because it so hard to keep up with the characters. But by the time Waylon had reconnected with Mary and had Merlin facing down a hurricane... I was totally smitten! This book is about living an unexpected life and learning that living in your own way is simply beautiful. The world is harsh and cruel and unkind but being true to yourself will always help you get through. By the time I ended this book, tears were streaming down my face and I am NOT an emotional person. As I sit here trying to tell you how great this book is the tears keep coming. Not because it was a sad ending but because the message was just so beautifully written and finally unfurls into the most beautiful Daffidil the world has ever seen!

A MUST READ!
