I have enjoyed everything that I’ve ever purchased from Victoria Christopher Murray. This book was a miss for me. I just didn’t enjoy the story, narration or the characters. It was a little silly. Not up to the standard of VCM.

Philosopher, Broadway headliner, fighter, felon - Mike Tyson has defied stereotypes, expectations, and a lot of conventional wisdom during his three decades in the public eye. Bullied as a boy in the toughest, poorest neighborhood in Brooklyn, Tyson grew up to become one of the most thrilling and ferocious boxers of all time - and the youngest heavyweight champion ever. But his brilliance in the ring was often compromised by reckless behavior.

Great story with a lackluster performance by a couple of narrators. The previous cast of narrators were so good. Not all narrators were monotone. London’s storyline was good but her narrator was the worst out of this cast. 5 stars for Carl Weber, however.

She's on the right path, until a church mother puts up a road block. All Angel wants to do is try to get into heaven. But first she'll have to go through the pit of hell Mother Calloway puts her through with her un-Christ-like antics.
