What the hell do I know about raising a baby? Nothing. Not a goddamn thing. Yet here I am, the sole guardian of my niece. I'd be lost if it weren't for Katherine, the beautiful girl who seems to have all the answers. Katherine, who's slowly finding her way into my cynical heart. I keep reminding myself that I can't fall for someone when we don't have a future. But telling myself this lie and believing it are two different things.

I'm a new fan of Lex Martin, and have read review after review of the books being predictable, but I love them. I listen to books for a distraction from real life and Lex gives me that.

I dont usually leave reviews, but the narrators were so awesome I had to say something to their credit. Job well done!!

Here is a compelling meditation from renowned horseman Mark Rashid on all the ways that the principles we apply in our dealings with fellow humans can apply to our relationships with our horses, and vice versa. Horsemanship Through Life is about awareness, learning, teaching, honesty, integrity, and much more. It is about more than tips or technique; it is about principles to live by. It is about taking ownership of and responsibility for our lives and relationships with horses and humans. It doesn t take long to listen to, but will be with you for life.

I don't think you need to have a back ground in horses or even much of an interest in them to get something out of this man's story. But, personally, I'm not usually a fan of horse trainers who write books. I feel that most of the time they're a little full of themselves, but this guy shares his problems and how he overcame them. Humbling himself in my eyes. Letting us know that we all fail from time to time, and it's okay to learn and grow from it.
