What a strange meditation series this is. I love that Audible decided to make something like this available and I love that it's free. Unfortunately the choice of music, narrator and his unfortunate delivery mean this package is a massive dud. I can't believe it was ever even released.

After Day 1 and 2 were recorded, did anyone actually listen to the result? It's Tony Robbins style narration with Twenty Minute Workout music. I was anticipating "aaaand 3 mooore, 2 mooore."

I meditate multiple times per day and use different programs to do so. I wonder if the creator or narrator of this package has ever meditated.

I have to declare this one a DUD but hope Audible will try again.

To Violet Ramis, he was best known as an amazing father, confidant, and friend. It's a good book and worth a listen but Violet Ramis comes across as a real life case of arrested development. A spoiled brat with a narrow view.

That said Harold Ramis had an interesting life - more interesting that I thought.

I laugh still think of So Your Dead. Now What?

Within every community, toxic people can be found hiding in families, couples, companies, and places of worship. The cryptic nature of psychological abuse involves repetitious mind games played by one individual or a group of people. Psychological abuse leaves no bruises. There are no broken bones. There are no holes in the walls. The bruises, brokenness, and holes are held tightly within the target of the abuse.

Jann Arden moved in to a house just across the way from her parents in rural Alberta to be close to them but also so they could be her refuge from the demands of the music business and a performing career. Funny how time works. Since her dad died in 2015, Jann cooks for her mom five or six times a week. Her mom finds comfort in her daughter's kitchen, not just in the delicious food but also just sitting with her as she cooks. And Jann finds some peace in caring for her mom, even as her mom slowly becomes a stranger.

I love Jann Arden. I love the book. My family has been coping with a similar situation and I could really understand the range of emotions. Getting old is not for the faint of heart.

I am confused by the length of the audiobook. It says 5:40 but the length is just under 3 hours. Even more confusing the book downloads as two back to back copies. Just under 6 hours long. Yeah so I don't understand that and I'm a bit frustrated and I do know it's not 1913.

Any additional comments?

If I were a tween girl, this book would be so, uh, freaking awesome, you know? Super awesome.

I am not a tween girl, so it was not awesome. As another review said, " expected an easy listen from an actress whose movies I have admired, in it's place I listened to 3 chapters of what sounded like a very young girl reading from her diary. Skip it."

Why is there more than 20 minutes of thank yous and acknowledgements at the end? Ridiculous.
