Would you listen to Special Forces Rendezvous again? Why?

I enjoyed the story very much, but not enough to listen to it again. I have so many other books to discover and listen to.

If you’ve listened to books by Elle Kennedy before, how does this one compare?

This was more exciting than the other.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really.

Any additional comments?

I purchased this book because I liked the reader, Liz Bieler, whom I heard on Darkwood Manor. She has a very reassuring and confident voice. She would be very good reading business or self-help books.

An estate haunted by over a hundred years of tragedy - and Donovan Black stood at the heart of it. Like Darkwood Manor, Donovan was an utter mystery. An FBI sharpshooter who couldn't break away from his past, he only wanted to make sure that history didn't repeat itself - especially now that the manor had a lovely new owner. Isabella Ross had either discovered the perfect vacation spot or her final resting place. Now her only hope for survival is a man who doesn't want her around - a man she can't seem to resist.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This isn't the kind of book I normally read or listen to, but a friend recommended it. I needed something light and mindless to entertain me while I cleaned out closets. The story was so-so. The heroine's cousin disappeared yet she started a romance instead of actively searching for her cousin. I only stuck with the audiobook because I enjoyed the reader.

Would you recommend Darkwood Manor to your friends? Why or why not?

With reservations because the story was weak, but the reader was good.

What about Liz Bieler’s performance did you like?

I had never heard this performer read before and was pleasantly surprised. She has a nice, confident voice and did character voices well. I'd listen to other books she reads.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was entertaining, but evoked no strong emotions.
