The story is entertaining but the two don't get together until the last 2 min of the book and then they just kiss. Disappointing after waiting so long for them to come around. I expected more. I am noticing with this writer that her build up is great, it keeps my attention, but the climax is short flat and just does not deliver.

It was hard for me to keep listening because the narrator made the main character girl sound like flake and transvestite. It was also so slow that I have to speed up the narration which is uncommon for me since English is my third language. The story is fine, but I had to admit that the romance did not build up well. I was bored at times.

I was skeptical about this book seeing the reviews that it is just like the first book. While the plot is similar and predictable this story is different because it takes place in Italy so you end up painting a completely different picture in your head so it feels different and fresh. It is a great listen for my morning run.

The book would be better if it was shortened by about 75 percent. There are a lot of chapters that have no story at all, only descriptions that are not important to the story. It ended up driving me mad. Once you extract the relatively short story, it is pretty good.
