This series is fabulous and Michael Pauley does an incredible job of narrating it - he’s a must listen for me!

Ronan and Tenn are now happily married with their chosen family surrounding and supporting them. Both the MC’s and secondary characters are loveable and well written and as always with Pandora Pine the wit, humour and amazing dialogue is a constant between the characters. On top of all that there’s a fantastic storyline.

This story isn’t a cold case which is a huge change in this series, but instead is a case of mistaken imprisonment with a man in prison suspecting it was in fact his twin that committed the crimes. It’s a thrilling and action packed ride as always and is a fantastic listen.

Rainbow Key - an idyllic island retreat off the west coast of Florida. Think wedding destination, white sandy beaches, lurve…except at the moment Joshua is struggling to pay the electricity bill, they’ve no paying customers, and even if they did they can’t afford the repairs from the devastating hurricane that struck three years ago – and to top it off they have to take in Daniel, a grumpy businessman who has been ordered by his doctor to take some time off before he has a heart attack from too much stress.

I read the kindle version of this book when it came out a few months ago and I loved every page of it. So when I heard that there was now an audible version I knew I had to listen to it. Darcy Stark has done an amazing job with the narration and the audio version is just divine!!

The MC’s in this book are gorgeous souls. Joshua has a past that haunts him and has to shoulder more responsibility than an average 22 year old. He is so caring and has the biggest heart for those he loves and wants to protect. These include his favourite guests and the other staff at the hotel who he “inherited” from the previous owner Clive. As Charlie so beautifully put it “Clive collected broken things” meaning people and the staff there may have been broken by circumstance but on the island they are allowed to heal, flourish and form a family with each other. Victoria Sue has created a stunning set of characters at the hotel and I can’t imagine anyone not falling in love with them.

The other MC Daniel has been sent to the island by his doctor for some much needed R&R. Although his company has tried to buy the island Rainbow Key is on several times, he finds himself falling in love with the band of misfits that are the staff and he goes out of his way to help them succeed wherever he can. I adored the interaction between Daniel and Joshua - Daniel was so caring and loving with Joshua, always trying to make him feel good about himself and never being remotely pushy about sex. Joshua just cared for Daniel so much and he could see the lost man behind the workaholic businessman. They are perfect for each other. In summary 5 stars is not enough for this audiobook!!

Jake and Andreas were friends when they were younger but when an event happened that caused Jake to feel betrayed by Andreas they went their separate ways. Roll on a few years and Andreas and his daughter are being threatened and turn to the agency that Jake works for to hire a bodyguard. Andreas and Jake are great together, I loved the way they found forgiveness for each other and how rekindling their friendship turned to love.

The book was fast paced, held my interest throughout and the narration by Robin Woodson was spot on.

Dr. Corbin Davis is a busy guy just trying to do his best as a single parent. He may be oblivious to a lot of things, but surely he would’ve noticed something as important as his 15-year-old son Grayson being bullied, right? And what the heck is nonbinary, and why hasn’t Gray shared this all-important part of himself with his own dad?

This is a great book, it’s so much fun with amazing characters who I adored. Andy and Corbin pretend to be boyfriends as a deal - Corbin thinks it will help his son Grayson open up to him about being non-binary and Andy gets a boyfriend to take home to meet Gam Gam as he may have told her a teensy lie about him having a boyfriend to end her endless matchmaking ways when he is actually still single! Throw into the mix Andy’s heartbreaking past, some horribly homophobic incidents the guys face, a set of drag queens, Susan Hawke’s sense of humour and of course a very large amount of romance and this is a winner for me. Top that all off with Michael Pauley narrating the book and this is definitely an audiobook I’ll listen to over and over.

JACK - My life ended when I was 16. Not literally - I’m no ghost, I just feel like one. It's a byproduct of losing your pack to a plague that skips you by like you’re not worth the effort. Chose all the good ones and you’re what was left behind. Survivor’s guilt, people call it. I just call it like I see it. I do a decent job of going through the motions. I’ve got a good reputation as an alpha, and everyone loves to joke about the only vegan alpha in North America. Some days even I’m convinced that this is it. As good as it gets. Then Dylan Kapernit walks into my shop.

Dylan’s husband passed away a couple of years ago and he has now decided it is time to try and move on. He heads to a tattoo parlour to have his wedding band removed from his left hand and transferred to the right. The tattoo artist is Jack, an Alpha, who lost his pack to disease a few years ago. Dylan and Jack fall in instalust and form an instant strong connection. When Dylan finds out how Jack’s family died he pushes him away, but still can’t get him out of his mind. It was a sweet story with a good storyline.

Jack Calihan was a fabulous narrator for this book. It was the first time I’ve listened to anything narrated by him, but I will be seeking him out in the future. He had great voices for both roles.

Victor Bayne, the psychic half a PsyCop team, is a gay medium who's more concerned with flying under the radar than in making waves. He hooks up with handsome Jacob Marks, a non-psychic (or "Stiff") from an adjacent precinct at his ex-partner's retirement party, and it seems like his dubious luck has taken a turn for the better. But then a serial killer surfaces who can change his appearance to match any witness' idea of the world's hottest guy.

This is an absolutely brilliant book and I loved everything about it! It’s an urban fantasy series featuring homicide teams where one partner is psychic and one isn’t and so they work on cases using all available senses. Victor Bayne is a hugely talented psychic medium whose partner has just retired and he is partnered with newbie Lisa Gutierrez to solve a series of murders of gay men. When it is discovered Lisa has some psychic ability she has to be removed from the case and Vic is partnered with another duo Jacob and his psychic partner Caroline. Vic and Jacob already have an attraction before working together and it was great to see them being partnered together and watch their relationship develop.

The plot was great! Really well written, fast paced with brilliant characters. Considering it wasn’t a long book there was a lot of action in there and the characters were really well developed. I loved all 4 of the main characters and the interaction between them. I can’t rate this book highly enough and will definitely be going on to read/listen to the rest of the series.

This is my first book by Taylor Rylan but won’t be my last! It’s a standalone book, but as I discovered is a spin off from another series. There were lots of references to characters and events that had happened in the other series but these never left me confused as the author wrapped them up well. It has left me very keen to go back and read the first series though!

In this book we meet Collin and Dalton, they are both sweet, loving MCs who clearly have instant chemistry and attraction but nearly let their misunderstandings and stubbornness get in the way of their HEA. On top of the romance there is a sub story which puts both men in grave danger. I really enjoyed the story and this was a sweet, fun read (listen!)

Michael Pauley was a perfect narrator for this book. I really enjoy listening to his voice and he has great ability to pace a book well and bring the characters alive.

When my old high school teammate invites me to stay on his family farm, it’s the solution to my financial woes. I never imagined it might also be the answer to my loneliness. Allen Hale Jr wasn’t the first number I tried for help. It’s been years since I’ve even thought of him. But he answered on the first ring, and hours later, we’re still talking like we’re 16 again, goofing off after the big game.

I enjoyed this book but felt I could have enjoyed it more if there had been more details. For example, I never felt like I fully understood why Kyle felt like such a failure after his Mum died and this seemed to be fundamental to his “should I, shouldn’t I” fears regarding a relationship with AJ. That aside it was a sweet romance story and I enjoyed Kyle and AJ getting their long awaited HEA.

For me personally, I felt the narration spoilt this audiobook. I liked how Barney Parkwynne portrayed AJ’s character, but when narrating Kyle’s parts of the book I felt he was almost robotic with no inflection etc and I actually found that I had to play some of these sections several times over as I realised my head had wandered off and I’d stopped listening. This is a real rarity for me with audiobooks.

In summary though, it was a sweet story with a lovely HEA and a gorgeous cowboy!
