This book has nothing to do with the title. It isn’t even a book but instead a bunch of lectures about psycho-babble. He rambled on about diseases and bacteria and never gave any useful information for changing your habits or lifestyle.

I was really disappointed in this book. This was basically just a biography of Eric Thomas's life and it was so long, drawn out and boring. I really Eric Thomas as a motivational speaker and I thought this book would have the same motivation, tips and grit that all his speeches have. I had to force myself to finish it.

We're in the middle of an epidemic of average. So-called "normal" people get up every day, go to work, do what's asked of them, leave promptly at five, and return home to sit on the couch and watch TV. Society tells us that this is what it means to lead a balanced life. Don't stress too much or work too hard. Your career isn't everything. But Grant Cardone thinks this preoccupation with balance has really just given an excuse to be mediocre.
