They speak of tales of strange monsters, creatures of myth, creatures of legend. They do not speak of their secrets. Not then. What disappointed you about Dragons of Autumn Twilight?

I was up to section 28 and honestly I could not listen to another word and I stopped caring about all the characters. This story is too drawn out and dry as bones.

What was most disappointing about Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman ’s story?

Too slow and the voice for the gully dwarves was annoying.

Which scene was your favorite?

None stood out.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Dragons of Autumn Twilight?

The entire trip in and out of the lost city and the gully dwarves.

Any additional comments?

I wish I had not spent a cent on this. It is so disappointing.

My name is Jemma Blackburn, and I'm a Slayer. Finding out I wasn't human was only the beginning of my problems. My best friend, Taylor, is still missing, and so is the Immortal Amulet, and it's my job alone to get them both back. I don't know who I can trust, and I'm still not sure I'm cut out for any of this, but I'm determined to figure it all out, or die trying. As if that wasn't bad enough, there's a new enemy in town and they've come bearing gifts - an ancient prophecy that is going to blur the very lines between good and evil. And, apparently, my blood is tied to the center of it.

but the last two chapters made me route for the "bad guys". The heroine is annoying, never takes advice, acts more like a 12 year old than a teen and the dialogue at the end was painful to the point of maybe not caring what happened to her.

In this story, an alien race known as the "Throgs" attacks a Terran survey camp without warning. "Eye-searing lances of energy lashed back and forth across the base with methodical accuracy, and a single cowering witness, flattened on a ledge in the heights above, knew that when the last of those yellow-red bolts fell, nothing human would be left alive down there."

I love Norton but this reader is lacking. Perhaps he is fine for some listeners but it was painful just to make it to chapter two for me.
