Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy.

Absolutely amazing! The narrator has a great voice and did an amazing job telling the story. This is a truly heartbreaking book that honestly messed with my feelings a bit but I would truly recommend this book to everyone.

They only meant to right the wrongs. It was about getting even. Burn for burn. But the fire they lit kept raging. Reeve ended up hurt, then Rennie ended up dead. Everything will turn to ash if they don’t stop what they started. But now that Mary knows the truth about what happened to her, will she want to? Secrets drew Lillia, Kat, and Mary together. The truth might tear them apart.

What would have made Ashes to Ashes better?

There are scenes in this book that I LOVED but PLEASE remove the whole supernatural/spiritual mumbo jumbo crap.

Any additional comments?

I love the series but Mary completely ruins the book. At first I couldn't stop listening to it but the longer I listened to it, it became so annoying to listen to. The whole Mary is dead thing killed it for me. I am pretty damn disappointed.

What did you like best about Soon I Will Be Invincible? What did you like least?

The narrators are amazing! They really captured the characters! Unfortunately, that is the only good thing about this book. I really wanted to like this book but the story line is so unbelievable predictable. I went through stages throughout this book of really liking this book, but I couldn't help but begin to cringe at most of the parts. Honestly most characters aren't likeable, although I do like Doctor Impossible and Black Wolf. This book had the potential to be very good, but unfortunately lost to bad superhero tropes.

What could Austin Grossman have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

They should have stayed away from the typical superhero story lines. I mean come on! In my opinion not one character had an original story line. Unfortunately we are in an age of absolutely amazing superhero books/movies and this one falls short. The worst part about this story is that the listener can EASILY predict the ending of the book. I wanted Doctor Impossible to win but unfortunately, like most movies/books, the good guys always win.

What does Coleen Marlo and Paul Boehmer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They were amazing!

Was Soon I Will Be Invincible worth the listening time?

I might listen to it again but it is highly unlikely.

Any additional comments?

Don't stop making superhero stories! Keep trying!
