For a sociopath, Jane reflects too much. And you wait for a twist and there comes... well, I wouldn't say none, but a rather weak one.

The TWIST!

I loved the book! The suspence! The twist! But there are slightly too many references to Greece - when technically it was not necessary :)

Too curt and business-like voice

That felt more for waking up and going to work than for relaxation and going to sleep

It started really well and I was very excited to learn about Pakistani culture and new setting seemed to have fit perfectly. Yet, by the middle of the book I came to dislike Alys ("Lizzy") more and more for her being not witty and charming, but rude and disrespectful. By the time she calls "Darcy" "It" ("It has a sense of humor") and others laughed, I was ready to take sides of those characters in the book that thought negatively of her. I could not help but stopped listening in anger when Alys showered Darcy with insults after his proposal. I saw no reason for him to even like her! And there he was meekly listing their similarities. There I stopped and going to return the book.

Way too long till almost the very end, repetitive, dragged and dragged, I kept fastforwarding. A bit too many not very believable coincidences. The narrator does not make a clear distinction between characters in dialogues, it was often v. confusing. However, the resolution was unexpected and satisfying!

It started sloooowly and it continued in a very banal way. By "predictable" I do not mean I could immediately tell who was the killer but there were very usual plot twists all over again.

Not to be listened before (or at) mealtime :)

Enjoyable though too much gloomy midwifery and other scary medical practices irrelevant to the plot

I liked couple of previous books in the series but this one is a disappointment. Way too long and the behaviour of both main characters defies any possible logic. The rest are not much better either.
