Spoiler alert: do not read this review if you don’t want to be informed on plot

I enjoyed the book but was so disappointed in the order of things. The beginning while intriguing ruined the whole story. Took what would have been interesting to just watching it play out. The characters were good, settings well described and performance was outstanding. Very disappointed, this author is good, poor choice on editing I bet.

Love this series! There aren't enough days in the week!

Loved the characters and the depth. The descriptions were so vivid and level of intimacy with the main character was nothing short of first person personally.

Both the writing which was truly delightful and the performance which was stellar have me anxious for more!

I enjoyed all of the characters and the story was good. The performance was good but you can here some weird stuff like swallowing which is usually edited out I think.

Too many characters, not very well developed characters. So really clever ideas and interesting parts but not pay money. Wait for it to come on cable!

The performance was enjoyable.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Long Way Home to be better than the print version?

Love the reader! Love the story!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Long Way Home?

Love the Characters, so much depth!

What about Ralph Cosham’s performance did you like?

His voices are so distinguishable, his accents so enjoyable.

Any additional comments?

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The main characters were engaging, but the story was so totally sick and uncomfortable I could not finish it.

What could Karin Slaughter have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Writing style and voice were very enjoyable, but the violence against women to be depicted in such a detailed fashion was nothing short of disgusting, Anyone can cause revulsion, she should not waste her talent!

Any additional comments?

There really should be a separate section for horror stories/mysteries. I don't know who would enjoy reading this, but I wish I had not wasted my money.
