This book was my favorite so far. I really enjoyed the ramping up of the danger and level of proficiency on the part of the good and bad guys. The ending was great, especially the glimpses of different approaches to fighting.

The author and narrator team score yet again with this installment. This book is another solid entry in the series that delivers where it should.

Great book, great action and character development. A lot of long standing questions finally get answered. I can't wait to listen to the next one to see Harry deal with his new situation.

I couldn't stop listening to this one, it only lasted two days. Now the complaints, the reader pronounces two character's names in the exact same way. If you are planning to read this know that their is a character named Mab who has a daughter named Maeve and that the sounds are indistinguishable when they come from the reader's mouth. This is not a small problem. If you are looking for a small problem here's one: height ends with a "t" sound, not a "th" sound.

Like the author said in the forward, and like Patrick Rothfuss has said, this edition definitely course corrects the series. I'm glad I listened to Rothfuss and gave Dresden the second chance that I otherwise wouldn't have. Onward to book four.

Great book, but it's heavy on the gross for lay people. Also, an incredible number of pages is dedicated to trying to convince the reader to believe in profiling and to recognizing the impact of the author.

If you are a fan of LT Kenda's shoe than this book is just what you would expect. The difference being that the LT takes advantage of the lack of Standards and Practices in publishing and really goes for the gross out in quite a few spots. In other words, this book is to satellite radio what his TV show is to terrestrial radio.

This is my favorite fantasy novel series period, possibly my favorite series ever. I have listened to this series more than any other books and I think about the story and its characters often. An, as yet, uncompleted masterwork that deserves even more clamor and anticipation than it currently engenders.
