Released from the man she has long hated, she becomes the captive of Eirik, a warrior who lets nothing stand in his way. Despite her humiliation at her forced seduction, Elswyth cannot deny her longing for his hard-muscled body and her desire to submit to his fierce arousal. With Eirik, she finds the satisfaction she has always craved, but can she ever be more than his plaything? If she returns with the Northmen to their distant lands, what future awaits?

First of all this is in only the h's point of view, you get nothing from the H. This story talks about rape as though they are discussing what they ate for breakfast! There is no relationship building between the H & h, but that doesn't seem to be that big a deal since when she decides to go with him he says he will give his children his name and inheritance and that he has bedded many women and will bed many more!! WTF?? Thankfully this was short because that's the only reason I finished it. I plan to return this and see no reason to continue the series.

Determined warlord Torun cannot wait to claim Lucy, who mistook him for a shipwreck survivor and pulled his injured body from the ocean. All his instincts tell him she is his soul mate. Now she must join with him and give him a child. Lucy can't believe the words coming out of this hard-bodied male. He insists her destiny is to become a mermaid queen and mother to his future children. The one thing "destiny" forgot to mention was that Lucy's a broke divorcee who can't even have a child. It's really too bad, because his gorgeous lips are all too kissable.

I felt like I was reading a book back in Jr high. They have mediocre sex with almost now description, she drones on endlessly about all her worries.. I actually had to skip over a few chapters just to remain sane.

The end sucked, she doesn't go to the tree to try and actually get healed, they head back to land. WTF?? I'm going to get my credit back, very disappointed because I had this in my wish list for a while.

Just like Rapunzel from the fairy tales, Amy lives a hidden life. She's kept locked away in a tower for her own safety, with her sister as protector. Amy knows it's for her own good. If a dragon catches her scent, she'll be carried away and forced to become a drakoni's mate. But Amy has a secret that she desperately wants to be stolen. She would love to be rescued from her life of idleness and the thought of a devoted drakoni male charging in and saving her from her boredom sounds perfect to her. Of course, she wants a romantic, loving male who will adore her. What she gets is Rast.

I love how we see Amy go from a shy girl waiting in her lonely room for her prince to come and sweep her off her feet. Poor thing is having to stay heavily perfumed and hidden away to keep other dragoni Alex from searching her out as a mate. Her sister is doing it out of love but Amy wants what her sister and the other mates have....a male who looked at her with utter love and devotion and lives only to make them happy.

Amy goes from being someone who has never had to take care of herself to a strong woman who other women look to for leadership. I won't go into exactly how but it's really a sweet story, and she and her tough mate compliment each other perfectly.

The narrators did a great job and of course it is in dual POV. I can't say enough about Ruby Dixon, I love all her work and so happy they are available on Audible. I would have to admit that my favorite series is Ice Planet Barbarians, but this se r is awesome in its own right.

Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I'm one of them. Yay, me. In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a cootie. And my cootie's a jerk, because it also thinks I'm the mate to the biggest, surliest alien of the group.

A lush, tropical island on an icy planet makes no sense. Then again, not much makes sense anymore after waking up and finding myself not in bed but on a strange world populated by aliens. Since that moment, I've learned that nothing is normal anymore and I've got to roll with the punches. I can handle this, though. I'm strong and capable. So...washed up on a tropical island? Got it handled. Stranded alone with a brutal but delicious alien man that can't speak English but has great...ahem...body language? Yup, handled.

I really enjoyed this new spin off of the Ice Planet Barbarians even though I didn't like why there is this spin off. I don't like that Maddock's old crew was taken and killed off! However the new cast of characters are set up for some very interesting story lines.

Ruby Dixon, the author, has three series that are in Audible so that is the reasoning behind the three sets of narrators. I loved the narrators for the Ice Planet Barbarians, the but who did the male voices was awesome hands down. I completely hate how both narrators did the voices for the males in this book. They are made to sound slow whitted, the female voices where good though.

I enjoyed the different POV with both male and female voice actors. The only problem with the narrators was that There are distinct pauses that are a little bothersome. But I still was able to enjoy the story.

I love the characters and story line, my only real problem is that this ends in somewhat of a cliffhanger. Lyon leaves Kat at a karaoke bar with the other MC "sisters" so that he and a few of his guys can go take care of one of the men who hurt Kat. The story leaves off right after they get rid of him, spectacularly, and then nothing. I hope there is going to be more.

Dareena Sellis is a nobody. The orphaned daughter of a no-name farmer, she toils away as a serving girl at Hallowdale Inn, her only marriage prospects either shipping off to war, or pawing at her skirts with their grubby, gnarled hands. But fate takes a strange turn the day a dragon huntress comes to town. Suddenly, Dareena is swept off to Dragon's Keep, trading in her raggedy dresses for silken gowns, her closet-sized room for feather pillows and spacious gardens, and her miserable suitor for three very handsome, very virile dragon princes.

Awesome dual POV w/ realistic radio program feel!!

There is a heads up to this book, it ends in a cliff hanger but the second book is on kindle and the third one is due end of December 2017. This just came to Audible so I'm sure the others will follow.

I have to say that my favorite thing about this is that it is not only told in multiple POV but the voice actors to back and forth like a real conversation. You never have a female trying to do a male's voice and vice versa. Don't get me wrong it isn't something I hate, but because it is done this way it's much more like your listening to an old time radio program from back in 1940's. Can't say enough about how awesome the voice actors are, I plan to look for more from them!!!

This story is well rounded, the world building is very easy to imagine. Plenty of sexy scenes that don't turn the story into a strait porn story. All of the hot scenes are one on one with the h dividing her time between the triplets, I have to say that I like that better than one woman having to take care of everyone at the same time and the author trying to tell me that "it's all about her"!! That's a lot of work for one woman!! I much more enjoyed this game on what is now so popular "reverse harem"

I used a credit on this and don't regret it one bit, but would have liked it this hard been available at a discounted price since I already have this book on Kindle.

Joyce's life is mapped out: dead end job, after dead end job, until she is dead. At least, that is until Kede Tria - a Doshan alien - shows up and takes her away from it all. Literally. He's overbearing, possessive, sexy as hell, and everything she never knew she wanted in a man, er, alien. Of course, life happens and she discovers Death by Chocolate isn't just a dessert, it's a reality. Good thing Kede is there to save her...by making her Doshan.

You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet. And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me....

This book was my least favorite. I agree with another review that the sexy scenes where rather funny...almost a "Austin Powers" feel. Jason's voice is huge and over the top that really make you laugh.

Both H & h are around 60 at this point, they have both lost their "Life Mate" and you get the feeling they are just looking for someone to share their remaining years with. I skipped through so much of this out of boredom, you got a very "yada yada" feel. You get so much info on new characters that seem to be there for the sole purpose to set up new books for Berrek and Amina, and another for Steph and Nicholas. Those two stories I have greater hope for.

I have read almost all of M.K. Rider's stories and have really loved them, that is why this is such a let down. I would recommend keeping an eye out for the other stories, if they come out then I could see getting this for the background info on those people.
This Audible book would have been better if they had more voice actors, the female does all the female characters and it can be hard to keep them strait.
This story is mostly set up and does not have the same feel as the first two.
