What a privilege to have listened to Sir David read this totally captivating book of his life and exploits.
His enthusiasm, knowledge and passion mixed with humility are something to behold.
And then to have it done in impeccable English!
I highly recommend this book to people of all ages.

It never ceases to amaze me how egos get in the way of the facts and how they so often sabotage success.
This is one of those stories.
Interesting that Elon Musk, a current space pioneer, encourages people to jump over heads if they think they have a good idea.
Maybe that’s why Spacex is becoming a bigger player, ahead of the Boeing’s of the world.
This story is about a man’s self belief and final triumph. Even though he didn’t get the recognition he deserves.

I thought this book to be good with a lot of detail. I just didn’t like the way the reader galloped through it. I found the very short pauses to make following to be challenging.
I cannot believe how factionalized and disparate the different secret services were. Two enemies, the Nazis and the appeasers.
Who knew?

I haven’t listened to a Tom Clancy thriller before. This was most entertaining with just enough detail to be credible.
Fast paced and exciting.
Lou Diamond Phillips did an excellent job. I loved him as an actor and now as a voice artist.

I chose this novel from the Audible list and was pleasantly surprised. A story which showed the ability of human beings overcome the most trying times, because of honesty, resolve, loyalty and an unswerving belief.
Beautiful. The reader was fantastic too!

What an outstanding book. It read like a thriller. Suspense, passion, intrigue, humor, pathos and honesty. I highly recommend it.
There are many life and business lessons to be learned.

An eye opener as to the racism in the USA and the effect on an amazing artiste.

I have been shocked by the racism practiced in the USA when it was not legislated. This coming from a white South African who lived during the apartheid era.
SDJnr was an amazing person who did his best not to be bitter and revengeful. An American Mandela.
Thank you for a wonderful book

This beautifully written account of the holocaust and the impact it had on the survivors and their families left me emotionally drained.
It was so beautifully read, one could only believe that it had the same effect on the reader.
If this was the effect this story had on me as a gentile I can’t imagine its impact on a Jew.
May we never relive such terrible times.
Thank you for book.

The book was quite interesting but the author seemed to get bogged down in the minutiae of subjects that were best just summerised. An example was the Queens Park Rangers soccer subject right at the end of the book. Totally overdone.

As for the reader - he was really poor. Should consider another vocation.

A good book on a subject I like.

The only thing that irritated me was the converting dollars to pounds. Totally unnecessary.
Rather dull orator.
