Then two heroes arose - men as close as brothers, yet divided by bitter betrayal. Arlen Bales became known as the Warded Man, tattooed head to toe with powerful magic symbols that enable him to fight demons in hand-to-hand combat-and emerge victorious.

so all in all this was a good story. I do like the narrator a lot. he does an amazing job on the different characters voices and personality's. that said I got the first 3 books as a bundle deal and was happy with the value there, but after that each book only being like 13 to 17 hours and still costing a full credit was a disappointment. books 4 and 5 were a bit slow and seem like they were added to extend the story. that all said the story as a whole was very well written and the ending was fantastic. the author went to extreme lengths to make us the readers happy and fully informed about all and I mean all the characters and what happened to them in the end. great ending.

I have a hard time justifying the short story herewith an entire credit. I got the first 3 books for one credit but the last 3 are a credit each and just not very long. I do and have enjoyed the story but just don't see much value here is look for a longer read for the price.

Books 1, 2, and the prequel novella of the Fate's Forsaken series. The series follows the adventures of Kael: a young man who is thrust from his home in the Unforgivable Mountains and onto a hero's path. The journey is long, the battles are fierce - nearly all of his companions are outlaws. And Kael's rotten bad luck seems to make everything worse. This is his story.

But Rand dares not fight until he possesses all the surviving seals on the Dark One's prison and has dealt with the Seanchan, who threaten to overrun all nations this side of the Aryth Ocean and increasingly seem too entrenched to be fought off.

Robert Jordan is truely a master of his craft this is the third time I've gone thru this series. I read it haphazardly once 3-4 years before brandon Sanderson finished it. Then again after it was totally completed and now I'm going through it a third time using my audible credits and account. I love reading fantasy and fiction, but this may be the best I have ever had in an experience in fiction.

The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is by far my favorite fantasy epic story of all time. the audiobook company is fantastic as well. I have never in all my reading come across the series that displays real down-to-earth characters with great characterization and epic far-reaching story of good versus evil light vs dark.
