The taste of Ben and Tenzin’s future relationship was what I needed. I love these stories, so much. Tenzin has always been my favorite vampire. And her own story brings me into depression when I read/listen. But throw some Ben in there and we spice it all up! My only complaint while listening, was the narrator. Every single time he pronounced Emilie’s name, it sounded like “Amy Lee” and I wanted to stab a fork in my ear. I couldn’t stand it. I found myself focusing so much on it bothering me, that I couldn’t wait for it to be done with. And that made me sad, because EH is my favorite writer and I have spent so much money on these books in every form. Audio happens to be my preferred medium, because of driving, housework, etc. But dang, I probably won’t re-listen to this one.

I've had this book on my kindle for 3 1/2 years. I can't believe I took so long to read it. And I listened to it at times, also. The story is amazing, the characters were so beautifully written. I LOVE the performance of this story. Zachary Webber NAILED it. His voice is so sexy, so calm...exactly how I feel it should've been spoken. I intend to start listening all over again. ❤

I loved this book when I read it. So much. I was pregnant. And I sobbed and sobbed for hours. I wanted to experience the love in the heartache again. I'm glad I did. An incredibly well done performance. I'm so happy!

This performance was....unbelievable. 5 stars wasn't even enough. When I read the book, I was a mess. I hated it. I loved it. I was angry. I couldn't stop reading, but I wanted to throw my kindle at the same time. I actually vowed to never read it again! But when I stumbled upon the audio book, I knew I had to hear it. The lady who performed this book did such an amazing job and her voice was so soothing, so Senna. I can't review the story itself. My heart can't bear it. But love it. And I hate it. And I love it.

The twists in the story are killer! I first fell in love with Whitney Barbetti's writing with the prequel to this book. I loved the story so much, I couldn't wait to see what she might come up with for the characters. I was both surprised and impressed by the events in this book. Juliandra! Mira is one of my favorites in the book and I hope to hear her story some day soon.

I have to admit, I was shocked to hear the voice chosen for Julian. I think the performance was incredible, but his voice was wrong. At least to me. It was way too deep and harsh. Not at all what I expected, or how I envisioned Julian's voice. I even laughed out loud when he started talking. I was so surprised. lol. But definitely another awesome audiobook!!

I read this book a couple of years ago and fell in love with it. The plot twist with Emma and Landon threw me off! I was NOT expecting that! I was excited when browsing my audible recs to see it on there, so immediately bought it. It was really well narrated! I think the performance was so fitting for the story and was so true to how I read it in my head. It's an amazing story about perseverance and growing. It's such a different take on the student/teacher romance and really well done. It was awesome to see both Emma & Landon grow from beginning to end. I recommended this book to friends years ago, but with a new found love for it, will recommend again with audible.

"In here," he said, pushing on the skin above my heart, "you're 10 below zero. And you're closer to death than I am." My name is Parker. My body is marked with scars from an attack I don't remember. I don't want to remember. I choose to live my life by observation, not through experience. While people are laughing and kissing and connecting, I'm in the corner. Watching them live. I'm indifferent to everything, everyone. The only emotion I feel with any kind of depth is annoyance, and I feel it often.

I love this book so much. It speaks to my soul and the broken parts of me. I didn't have an Everett to save me. But this book is so important to me in so many ways. And I think Whitney Barbetti is an asshole. The best, most thoughtful, Queen asshole.

I must say though, I was surprised to hear this version of TBZ. I don't know why, but I expected it to have the part of the original where Parker helps Mira and Six with Andra's escape at the ranch. I still loved it, of course! Just missed that part.

The narrator did such a fabulous job. It was my first audiobook, so I had a hard time adjusting at first, especially since it's a story I know so well and have read many times. But hearing it aloud for the first time, and with the way it was narrated, it gave a whole new meaning and perspective I didn't have before. I'm so impressed and loved every. Single. Minute.
