Another strong female lead, excited to learn more about the troll kingdoms after the Torn series. Great setup and many trusts and turns.

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

True to form Molly Harper, I fell in love with the characters. I am always entertained, enough to listen to the other series multiple times. Really enjoyed this new series and ready for book two! A super fan of Amanda Ronconi due to her ability to take on any character and her fluidly to move between characters in her storytelling, the new addition of Jonathan and his baritone is appreciated.

The worst was supposed to be over. We were reunited after a decade apart. We were discovering the truth about our past. We were training and getting stronger every day. We were even happy. We never imagined the Mogadorians could turn one of our own against us. We were fools for trusting Five. And now Eight is lost forever. I would do anything to bring him back, but that's impossible. Instead, I will do whatever it takes to destroy every last one of them.

Would you try another book from Pittacus Lore and/or the narrators?

This series has a lot of detail but we are coming to the end right? We that is what I though as a reader/listener that this would be the last book in the series. It left me feeling like there was another part to this audiobook to download.
