As always, Susan Ericksen nails the narration. One of my fav series plus one of my fav narrators equals automatic preorder. I’ve already preordered the next one....can’t wait!

I gave up on this one twice before sticking with it the third time, and I'm so glad I did because I ended up really enjoying it. The first few times I gave up after 20-30 minutes because it seemed more of a YA story...it isn't, though! There's plenty of adult subject matter and heavy issues in this book. After about an hour, I couldn't stop listening. I finished it in one day. The narrator did a great job, too. I can't wait to listen to the next 2 books in the trilogy!

I absolutely love this series! Although the books are written as stand alone, I recommend starting from the beginning just because the stories are so great that I don’t want you to miss out on a single one! I really liked the first book, and this one is even better! I couldn’t put it down and finished in one sitting. It’s full of action, mystery, romance and humor.....I laughed out loud numerous times throughout this story. I love all the characters and I was happy to see Granny again, though I must admit, the 7 women romance writers might’ve been my favorite this go round! To understand what I mean, give it a listen....you’ll be so glad you did!
Jeffrey Kafer’s narration is great. However, there were a few times I wasn’t sure which character was speaking. Still, by far a most enjoyable performance.

It is as scary as it is exciting: this is how most people would describe a paranormal experience. While others encounter it even when they don't want to, others search for the thrill, going so far as visiting places out of the country just so they can feel the suspense. Haunted forests, abandoned ghost towns, creepy creatures, cursed roads, and other paranormal events - all these things happen for a reason. Murder victims manifest themselves perhaps because their justice is still not achieved, or perhaps, they simply were not ready to go.
