Would you listen to Babylon Confidential again? Why?

No, I wouldn't listen to it again. The story was compelling...but, in the end, Christian came off as self-serving and her "solution" to sobriety seemed to be an infomercial.

Would you recommend Babylon Confidential to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, for easy reading/listening, and compelling story. But not if you're looking for something deep.

Ellen O’Farrell is a bit unusual. She’s a hypnotherapist. She’s never met her father. And she can’t seem to keep a relationship going. (Okay, that’s more normal that we want to admit.) When Ellen meets Patrick, she’s hopeful nevertheless. But when he says he needs to tell her something, she fears the worst. When Patrick reveals that his ex-girlfriend is stalking him, Ellen thinks, "Is that all?" She’s more intrigued than frightened. She’d love to meet her. What she doesn’t know is that she already has.

Where does We Are Water rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As good as the best audiobooks I've listened to, if not better.

What did you like best about this story?

Lamb's characters emerge into the story at first as separate pieces of a puzzle. Slowly and subtly, these characters, their backgrounds, and their relationships to others are revealed, creating an intricately enmeshed cast and a compelling story. Very well done.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Orien Oh

If you could take any character from We Are Water out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Orien Oh
