So much of this book makes intuitive sense...yet I have not seen such a cohesive collection of these ideas together in one source of marketing advice.

It made me feel really good about some gut hunches and it explained how to expand on these systematically and clearly. It also explained why following their steps work psychologically and with research references.

Perhaps the most important take-home point I needed to hear was the importance of removing “clutter” or “noise” from all marketing material. I will take this advice to heart and ruthlessly push back on all the advice I get from web design people and consultants whose opinions just haven’t resonated.

The advice offered here is the kind I trust because it makes such intuitive sense and is uncomplicated. I look forward to reaping some results!

Within the wisdom teachings of Buddhism, there are many stories that refer to its founds as the "Supreme Physiciam"- a healer of all illness- mental, physical, and spiritual. The Buddha understood suffering and its antidote. His prescription and philosophy for right living led directly to a Tibetan meditation practice that is today the medicine our hearts have been searching for.

This was my first audio book by the author. She is so humble, approachable and witty that it makes the Dharma very accessible. I will listen to this particular Dharma talk again and again. I will also seek out other audiobooks by Pema Chodron.

Any additional comments?

I just finished this audiobook today. I admit that it took QUITE some time in 10 to 30 minute bites while commuting around the city. It was so full of well conceived points / analogies as well as inspiring quotes that I made dozens upon dozens of bookmarks. I stopped and rewound passages often...no, constantly. Even though it was annoying to do this in the car, every time I got in the car (even for short distances), I craved listening to this book. This book helped me make the huge decision of quitting my job last month and pursuing something drastically different....almost outside my career altogether...something more creative, more "risky"' more fulfilling....some dreams shot down by those around me in the past. I am SO much happier for it already. Now I plan to go back and type a summary of all of my bookmarks so that I can have a condensed and clear version of the notes that resonated the most with me. I also plan to make notecards of some of the incredibly motivating quotes in this book. Another review were criticized this book for so many quotes?!? I'm just damned grateful that I found so many useful and inspiring quotes within ONE book! This book has created forward momentum that I haven't felt in decades. I really think this book is changing and will continue to change my life for the better.

Becoming Magic is book one of a complete course in becoming creator of your own exceptional life. In this book, I outline the exact steps which enabled me to move my own life from one of poverty and drudgery, to one of previously unimaginable wealth, purpose and joy. But Magic? I do hope you are joking! That's what I would have said, five or ten years ago. I once despised all things 'New-Age'; all these spiritual types and their airy-fairy views, their bad science and their irrational beliefs.

As an overly educated but firmly middle class professional single mom struggling to grapple with my financial fears in Life, this book is JUST what I needed to shake me out of my financial stupor. I have massive amts of homework to do now, a new direction, a new mindset and loads of motivation!!! this book calls a spade a spade on common accepted dogma that prevent financial independence. It gives concrete bullets for homework to do. It is filled with enough practical examples to be convincing and very inspiring. It treats all mindsets with respect thereby encouraging the reader to come up with unpressured conclusions about which mindset is the best for them. VERY positive. VERY inspiring. VERY understandable (from someone with no formal or informal financial education). Thank you SO MUCH, Robert Kiyosaki!!!

Of all the self-help and spiritual books I have read, this put all the ideas together in a most down-to-earth and sensible way. She has cleaned the webs out of my head, called me on my procrastination /excuses and lit a fire under my ass! I am so inspired to take that leap of faith that I've been wanting to do for so long but have not done because of my own illusions and the discouragement of those around me. She has reaffirmed so many gut instincts inside me and bolstered my confidence / self-worth. From the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU JEN SINCERO!!!!!! This book is a life-changer for me.
