A couple of months have passed since the cyborg smuggler known as Salem led a small team in the violent coup that brought down Abraxas, demon Archduke of New Golgotha’s central kingdom of Ars Goetia. From the destruction, Salem became a hero, whether he wanted to be one or not, and was appointed the first human baron in the demon-run supercity. But Hell does not like being made to look foolish - or weak. And Salem’s actions, while noble, have consequences. A victory for man means a defeat for Hell. A single question will be asked of Salem: How far can a hero fall?

Armed with a sword more powerful than ever, Arthur has one chance to rebuild Heaven, forge an alliance between the angels and demons, and find the Holy Grail. If he succeeds, he may just have the power he needs to defeat Dred and rescue Gabriella, but if he fails, well, at least the convenience store is still hiring.

I will say it's hard to find a good series to stick with 4 books deep and shows promise to keep going forward strong.
Cipriano as always delivers and engaging story arc and characters that you can dig into. Arthur is a MC and still after four books keeps you wanting to follow his journey.
As always Furlong is amazing and on his way to becoming one of the top narrators in this genre. the man is awesome.
I look forward to seeing where the builders journey continues to develop.
If you enjoy his writing style, make sure to try his other works. Even though it's not all done by Furlong, everything written by cipriano and done by Joe Hempel is amazing as well!

This was a decent attempt but I feel like the short length of this book definitely hurt it. It needs some more fleshing out and development to separate it from all the other lit RPGs out there. I didn't really get much from Gisi's performance and like other reviews stated, he just needs more range and experience because this wasn't very captivating. all in all a decent book but didn't blow me away.

Kevin Taylor is an Internet-famous handyman on a mission: Find a house and renovate it in 30 days. By flipping a derelict house in a month's time and chronicling the entire thing on video for his online subscribers, he seeks to become a star. The problems that plague this property will require more than elbow grease to fix, however. Shadows throughout the home are distorted, and an enigmatic trespasser keeps showing up in his footage. Worse still are the hideous voices that issue from otherwise empty rooms in the dead of night.

This was a decent story with good pacing just felt a bit empty at times. thankfully Hempel is a natural for the horror genre and his tone and characters are always on point. Found myself looking forward to seeing where this story would end just got a little slow for me at points. all around a solid listen but I like some of Ibsen's other work' a little more. I do recommend this title if you like horror.
