I so enjoyed this book. it took me a couple of minutes to stop geeking out that the narrator was THAT R.C.Bray & then I settled down to enjoy this book. As a committed SF geek its great to come across something with a completely fresh spin on it.

Mr Alanson writes wonderful, fully fleshed characters and he seems to have a deep understanding of the inner workings of a military organisation. I was listening to the last couple of chapters on the back of a motor-bike & zooming past the scenery in a very pretty part of my country made the alien aspect all the more so. He writes really strong women which is refreshing and there is a huge amount of humour to help move the story along. Can't wait to start the next one.

What did you love best about Scoundrels: Star Wars?

Where does one start? The story, the new characters, the voices of our most loved 'old' characters? The plot itself would be stellar without the added incentive of the old friends & scoundrels like Han Solo, Chewie & Lando. The spectacular story that leads one into the Star Wars space/time & allows one to abandon rational thinking for some good old fashioned fun.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Scoundrels: Star Wars?

The rescue of Lando from the warehouse. The precisely detailed, hughly elaborate plan is exactly in keeping with Solo's schemes with the normal nail-biting margin for error.

Which character – as performed by Marc Thompson – was your favorite?

Has to be Han Solo. in some of the sceens i could imagine every facial expression. Bink - what a gal! and Chewie is his normal inimitable self.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Star Wars Soundrels - the rag-tag reunion

Any additional comments?

Cannot wait for more. I believe that this 'book' would not have been half as exciting in print. I received this as a gift which makes it doubly special.

What made the experience of listening to Knight of Shadows the most enjoyable?

I have a dilema. Does one rush through each book to find out how it all ends or does one slow down & saviour the experience? I will be so sad to listen to the last book - I am saving it for a rainy day

What did you like best about this story?

The bringing together of various 'loose' ends & a couple of twists in the tale - Luke getting married for one!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Wil Weaton started on his first of the chronicles i was a bit disapointed because I loved Alessandro so much but I have grown to love Will's reading too & he has brought an element of humour to the reading
