In this Audible Session we hear two interviews, first with the author and then with the narrator of Their Lost Daughters - the first book in an exciting new thriller series. Their Lost Daughters takes place on the muddy fields and the long stretching beaches of the Lincolnshire Fens. A teenage girl is found wandering, delirious, claiming to have been drugged at a party. Metres away, the drowned body of another girl is found on an isolated beach. And all this on a small stretch of land where, nearly 10 years ago, the shocking disappearance of a young girl remains an open case.

This was delighted to listen, what kind of a woman is behind the book that is dark, haunting and keeps you biting your nails while you dwell yourself into that world. Also Richard's interview how he tacked with this was interesting to hear. ❤️

Venetia Lanyon, beautiful, intelligent and independent woman, lives in comfortable seclusion in rural Yorkshire with her precocious brother Aubrey. Her future seems safe and predictable: Either marriage to the respectable but dull Edward Yardley, or a life of peaceful spinsterhood. But when she meets the dashing, dangerous rake Lord Damerel, her well-ordered life is turned upside down, and she embarks upon a relationship with him that scandalizes and horrifies the whole community.

I loved this audiobook, the way Richard used his voice with each character was brilliant. It came rather quickly obvious to the listener which character was in question and didn't need to guess who it was. The whole story was very enjoyable, it wasn't dull, Richard had the ability to capture the listener every step of the way. Especially the moments with Venetia and Lord Damerel were very memorable ones, I loved those two. Richard Armitage did awesome job with this audiobook.
